Vortex is gold
Amazing transformer, Vortex is fun in both bot and alt modes. Would highly recommend. Easy to transform, excellent range of motion, poses well. Get yourself a figure stand so you can display him in flight, looks really neat.

Going in on a limb!
Unlike Habro’s previous attempt at an arm bot(by that, I mean the last one I purchased), Vortex makes a great first impression for the final combiner. It feels good, the articulation is top notch, it doesn’t seem like it will break easily, making it ideal for children, and I didn’t feel as though I overpaid. Can’t wait for the rest

A solid figure
Fantastic figure with a ton of articulation and a very nifty transformation. Already have blastoff and brawl on preorder, can't wait for the whole team.

My favorite combiner, at last!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bruticus was my all time favorite combiner, ever. Devestator and Voltron came first, but with an uncle in the Army who sent me jackets and everything as a kid, this one was special. He sent me Brawl when I was a wee lad, and the rest of the family got the other parts. I still have them, mostly (they were VERY well loved. Nearly to death) but this new version is actually much better. It looks great in Heli mode, robot is a bit clunky but not terrible, and much better than the brick of the OG toy. I cannot wait to see the full combiner, though I wish they'd start with Onslaught, so I could form Bruticus as they arrived. Seriously Hasbro, start with the main part FIRST please from now on, this is dumb! ALSO, Complete boxed sets NEED to come back, and make them buy in pre orders or something so people don't miss out! Buy in, then they make enough to fill orders, like a Drop program.

Amazing figure that can be fought regardless of if you plan to buy bruticus
It is enjoyable to transform and look at. I like the feel of it as well. The smaller guns don’t stay well in the hands. The bigger one doesn’t have that problem and the smaller ones fit fine on the forearms except the right forearm has the end of the helicopter blocking the use of the hole there. Otherwise an amazing figure that can be bought with or without the goal of buying the others that combine with it. I would say keep the guns away from younger kids.

I can't wait to get all of Bruticus now!
Quality: I'll start by saying Vortex is pretty darn awesome. He's got really good articulation despite the arm kibble, and transformation is a joy once you know what you're doing. Articulation: OK let's see.... his head is on a ball joint, so he can look up, down, side to side, and do a little wiggly-waggly. Arm rotation, bicep rotation, shoulders can go up 90°, elbows can bend 90°but unfortunately no wrist twistage. But he's got waist rotation, thigh rotation, knees can bend 90° despite the thick shins, and he's got an amazingly flexibole ankle tilt! Due to transformation, you can turn his toesies downward if you want. And of course the top propellor can spin 360° and even collapse down to two blades! Value for money: The combiner toys look like they're hit and miss -- like I have four of the Constructicons and I like most of them, but Bonecrusher just looks like he skips leg day every day and also drinks too much beer on the side. But Vortex is one of my favorites so far! I just hope the rest of the Combaticons are just as good!

A wonderful start to the combaticons
This feels like a perfect middle ground of toy and show accurate. The perfect representation for the most iconic helicopter transformer

Probably the best wave figure! Solid, posable and one of the best vehicle forms ever seen in recent times with a simple but satisfying and clean transformation I can’t wait for the others

Awesome figure.

Nice figure, which looks great in both modes. He’s solid and made from quality plastic. Decent articulation although, his arm kibble is a little frustrating, but other than that he’s pretty perfect.
