I've never had a rain jacket before and the timing couldn't have been better. I shoent four days in NYC during a Nor'easter and wore this jacket every single day. It rained every day and this jacket did the job at keeping me dry. Lightweight. Fits great, lots of room. I bought a large and extra large and XL was enormous. Two things that were drawbacks. The hood is very roomy and obscures your view - pulled tight with drawstring or not. Also the drawstrings at the bottom are VERY long - before being cinched. A bit annoying, but the jacket itself is great. Water didn't come through. It never poured when I wore it so I can't speak to how waterproof it is in heat rain.

Okay it is a really nice jacket. But there are a few problems. LARGE is an Extra Large cause there is no way what I got is a large it's huge. And the strings on it are waaaaaaay to long . Like I'm talking about the bottom strings hang past your knees. The strings to tie the hood same problem too long of string.. I cut mine and made a double knot .. so far I think it would keep me pretty dry it's inside is lined with waterproof material.. I'm not sure how I'm gonna wash it .. but it being the megaloid size it is I can wear it over my coat and it will be perfect for winter.. but ya I love it just hate the length of string and size overall . It's aight

I was looking for a very inexpensive and lightweight, rain, jacket, and this certainly seems to be what I received.

I bought this windbreaker to replace one that did a very poor job in keeping rain at bay! This jacket is far superior and I am very pleased with it. I really enjoy the large inner pocket, the tight fit at the wrists and the fact that this jacket has a double lining. Although the previous one had a double lining also it did not repel the rain and in no time I got wet! My only suggestion is to add a loop in order to hang this jacket on a coathook. Very minor issue and it would not prevent me from buying again!!

Extremely lightweight and packable. Packs down to the size of a 0.5L water bottle. Waterproof the few times I used it. Good value for the price. Cannot speak to long term durability.

Runs a bit small, also tight in the chest. Buy a size up.

Bought this for a trip to Oregon, and have been using it ever since. It squishes into a tiny bag (that comes with the garment), so it's easy to tuck into your luggage or bag, and works beautifully. You will stay totally dry in this, and I like the color.
