Great compressed compost blocks
Very practical for storage & easy to make up as needed batches of compost, just add water. I do in a bucket as easier & makes a good 3/4 bucketfull. I've been using as a seed starter, for potting on seedlings into small pots or to top up larger pots & been successful. Reasonably priced compared to buying bags of potting compost, so had a few packs over the last few years. Very practical to save space as well.

Excellent Quality Coco Coir - Compact & Great for Houseplants!
This Coco & Coir is fantastic stuff! I bought it for creating my own potting mixes for houseplants, especially my tropicals, and it's been brilliant. One of the things I love is how compact the bricks are for storage – they save so much room compared to traditional bags of compost. I just rehydrate one brick at a time as needed, which is really easy to do, and then keep the expanded coir in a sealed tub ready for use. The bricks are really clean – no unwanted bits or pieces – and they expand to a surprisingly large amount of coir. A little definitely goes a long way! Mixed with a couple of other ingredients, it creates a beautifully light and airy substrate that my plants are loving. The fact that it's organic and peat-free is a huge bonus too. It provides great aeration and decent water retention, which is ideal for keeping roots healthy. Really pleased with the quality and will be my go-to for coir from now on. Pros: ~ Very clean and high-quality coir. ~ Space-saving brick form – easy to store. ~ Expands significantly, great value. ~ Perfect for creating airy, well-draining potting mixes. ~ Organic and peat-free. ~ Easy to rehydrate one brick at a time. Cons: ~ None at all, it's top-notch!

Very pleased
Really pleased with this compost. Loved how it expanded when water was added. I sieved it before use. Definitely buy again. And great it is in blocks. Very handy. Mixed it with perlite and vermiculite to make a seed compost.

Saves lugging big bags of coir
I use this to add to shop bought compost, helps to both aerate it and hold water. I put a block in a trug then add the recommended amount of water, then watch it swell up.

Great coco coir product, clean from impurities, good textures
I've been purchasing this product 2x times in the last 2 years. The blocks are clean, no pests or unwanted residues, and it expands even with ambient temp water! It has worked for me very well as main medium, given you know what are you doing/feeding to the plant. After a month of learning of properly maintain a good PH and nutrient intake, when paired with perlite and a little bit of normal compost, this is incredible. Last year I decided to ditch compost at all and use only coco coir plus other amendments. This is not ideal if you don't know what you're doing, as you're fully responsible of the plant intake of nutrients. Long story short, I have strawberries, parsley, basil and tomatoes and the grew beautifully in this medium. I'd suggest to wash a little bit for the first time, as it seems lower nutrient intake due probably to salt residue or too much potassium (I've used hot water to expand blocks, and this may release some salt or potassium). This caused some yellowing to the seedling leaves and purple leaves in tomatoes seedlings. When used for first time, it smell a little bit like wood (lignine), which is normal. After months of use you can recreate a very good soil life in it, and you can tell by smelling it (it's like wet soil after raining). To achieve this I've used seaweed fertiliser and liquid worm casting as well as good drainage with perlite and additional nutrient with volcanic rock dust. Very satisfied. I still have 4 blocks left! Only little con for me is when I need less than a full block for potting. I need to cut with a small saw to get the quantity I need (I counted a liter every 2cm of block, as it's 18cm long). But when stored takes. very little space and it's super light.

Easy to use, great value and No flies
Great quality and easy to use. I have been using it mainly for houseplants and have had no issues. I get a big bucket (I’ve added a photo as you need quite a big bucket as it makes a fair amount of soil) and then add rainwater from my outdoor water butt and then just mix with big wooden spoon until it is moist and crumbly. I’ve also had no problems with soil flies that you sometimes get with soil. It’s very convenient as the bricks are easy to store and move about esp if you had a a flat you don’t need to humph huge bags of soil about that weigh a ton. I’ve added a photo of some Rosemary I’ve taken cuttings from and all seem healthy. Only drawback is once you have ‘made’ soil you would either need to use it all or find some way of storing it. I tend to wait till I need to repot multiple plants so I can use an entire brick up.

Ottima qualità a giusto prezzo.
