Works Great
I have been using this product for years I own two espresso machines one is over 6 years old and I have never descaled this machine and it still works like new,I read one review where he mentions getting particles in his water I have never seen any residue in my tank water from this product, there a little pricey but they do last a year…

Great taste and scale reduction
The media could not be loaded. I like this product on my coffee machine as I noticed better coffee taste and better quality water. Also helps reduce scale buildup prolonging life of my espresso machine

It really works!
I have one of these in the water tank of my Rocket Espresso machine.I had it in for service and the technician said that there was no calcium scale in the tanks.I replace it once a year. This is cheap insurance for your espresso machine. It leaves no taste to the water.You just set it and forget it.

Date printed on internal bag is production date, not expiration
The descale component works well and I'm generally happy with these bags, but they stink and make your water stink and taste of the bag itself. When you brew coffee, whether espresso or otherwise, the taste isn't really there and doesn't bother me but if youre doing something like pulling hot water from your espresso machine for tea, the smell and taste will be there. All 3 of mine are like this.the pouch has pulled all the scale and calcium and stuff from the inside of my water reservoir which is/was really, really impressive. it definitely works, just it has a small about it..As for expiration dates - my bags have PRODOTTO IL 25 GEN 2021" on them which means "produced on 25 JAN 2021." this is not an expiration date like many believe. the bag is good for 1 year of use, im not sure of shelf-life.

Perfect
I received the product in the original manufacturers box. The manufacture date was clearly visible. I don’t remember the exact date, but it was within the last 6 months. Will definitely order this again when I need to replace it.

Just plop it in
Says it will decalcify my water for a year, sits in the reservoir nice and cute. Using in a Rocket Appartamento with Brita filtered water (replenished nightly so it has time to sit and decal). I think this is a must have for any reservoir espresso systems because calcification is the last thing you want going on inside your boiler.

Not good! Fine particles from bag in tank, thru steam wand
Unacceptable! I had high hopes for this product. I have very hard water. Needing to soften the filtered water in my new espresso machine. No directions came with the pouch. So I dropped it in the tank. Next day I noticed the water smelled differently but not in a bad way. Purged the steam into the steaming pitcher and the water was full of fine ‘sand’ particles! Water from the boiler was full of crap. This is going to ruin my machine!!! And possibly void my warranty. I immediately pulled the pouch out, cleaned the reservoir and ran water through the boiler and steamer and back flushed. I am hoping I have not gunked up anything on the inside of the machine. I am returning the product.
