I was hesitant to buy this after some reviews about it not getting hot enough. This thing got me through my wisdom teeth extraction. I had a tooth lodge sideways in my jar and recovery was awful. I needed heat therapy and this thing was amazing. It has a low, med, high, temp setting on it and a timer as well. Yes it might not be hot to touch but if you’re wearing it and remove it you can definitely tell the heat was there. I would recommend it to anyone have dental work.

What Doesn't Work: • Heat output is insufficient - Even on "high" it's barely lukewarm • Velcro doesn't hold securely - It shifts around once it warms up (the little heat there is) • Quality control issues - Stopped working after initial use • False advertising - Marketed for pain relief but can't generate enough heat to actually help The Only Silver Lining: The design and adjustable strap are fine in theory, but they're meaningless when the core function—heating—doesn't work. I followed the directions exactly and gave it multiple attempts. Bottom Line:This product failed to deliver on its basic promise. I received a refund and threw it away. Don't make the same mistake. If you need a heating pad for TMJ or wisdom teeth recovery, look elsewhere. This isn't worth the money or the disappointment.

I’ve been using this for a while now for my TMD. My muscles are my biggest issue causing this disorder. It heats nicely and feels comfortable. My 2 complaints is I wish it was chargeable instead of needing to be plugged in because I’m stuck in one place. The second is I wish the heat went higher up on the straps . I am still using this until I find something better. It definitely does the job
