High quality easy to use and exceeded my expectations

The workmanship on this product is excellent and it functions as advertised. We have hard soil and it was sturdy and held rigid through all the digging.We used it to edge the driveway and along the curbs. Hubs said it was a breeze to use, not too heavy or bulky, and he's super impressed with the "curb appeal" we gained by using this tool. He won't be using the electric edger anymore because he said this cuts through roots better and the results look a lot cleaner and sharper.He also used it in the front and backyard to clean up the edges of our landscaping and cut out areas to set large stones. We have a dry river and he used it along the edge to clear the ground cover and also around the flower gardens to stand up pieces of flagstone for edging. Worked out great in all situations!Extremely satisfied with this product and highly recommend it!

This is a very well-made and good looking tool, it feels very sturdy. It comes fully assembled and ready to use, so it doesn't get any easier than that. With the comfortable step, the blade is able to easily cut through the sod.We try to edge every week with the string trimmer, but this edger is great when we neglect to do so for a while and the grass overgrows onto the driveway.Another task I anticipate using this for is to cut out sections of sod for various projects (such as burying drainage pipes). In the past, I’ve just used a shovel to cut the outline of the section of sod I want to remove, but with the curved shape of a normal spade shovel, the cuts are a bit messy, while with a flat shovel it can be difficult to penetrate. This tool works well for this job, with its pointed end penetrating the sod easier, with the flat profile making for a cleaner cut. I can then scoop the section of sod out with the shovel.

This is the perfect tool for edging in your yard. We use it to cut clean lines around garden beds and along the driveway. This is one of those cases where I feel there are many imitators and they I just want to go for the original! It's well made, easy to use, and I'm confident it'll last as long as I will. It's not too heavy so it's easy to move around the yard. When you consider all that I think it's a great value and would recommend!

I got this manual edger for my yard so I don't have to rely on or wait for my husband to help anymore. I do not like using the weed eater to edge, and this fit the need perfectly. You do need a bit of muscle to make it work, but this works well, and you can create clean neat edges with this tool.The blade is sharp, and will cut through dirt and grass to create clean edges wherever you direct it. It does take longer to do manually than with a power tool, but that is to be expeced.Overall this tool is well made, and works as intended.

Not super in love with this product. The idea is really good, and the shape of the working end is good, but it's just not sharp enough to be fully effective. There's way too much work involved to get it to function in the intended manner. I like the length too - it's just the right height for me (but I'm a really short person so you may want to keep that in mind).

I loved this product but after one use both black handle pads came off and that’s made it a lot less comfortable and less effective to use. If that were fixed it would be at least 4/5 star. Sometimes I feel the blade could be sharper but we also have compact soil and some rocks here and there…

Unboxing, the item appears to be high quality. Welds look really clean. The paint job is really nice. Handle has a nice rubber grip that has room if you are wearing gloves. The foot area has enough room for a sizeable boot. The edge is strong. I used it immediately to cut a circle of sod out to plant a tree. It went right through thicker roots and push rocks out of the way. Good amount of length to get leverage to lift sod if needed. I am 6'5 and wish it was a little longer, but for anyone around 6ft or shorter it should be perfectly fine. Functions like it should. Good value. Has a long warranty too.
