Quality craftsmanship, beautiful design-sturdy fabric
What’s not to like? I researched quality, style, & price on many websites before purchasing two of these market umbrellas for the beach. These are very nice for the price, and appear to be seriously durable to enjoy spending time at the coast. The : tiers are fabulous for preventing wind gusts and ocean breezes from toppling over. The crank mechanism to open and close got rave reviews from my husband instead of having to push up manually, with Herculean strength, to open and clip with a pin on our old wooden spoked umbrellas. The powder coated metal to prevent rust was also a selling point for me. For me, for using at the coast this summer, this is about as high quality at affordable price as I could saw. Very happy with the purchase. I purchased in Navy color. They are true Navy, just like the photo.

good umbrella for a low price
I live in arizona where the high winds and hot sun regularly make mince-meat out of my umbrellas, despite the fact I faithfully lower and tie them when not in use. I've bought a LOT of expensive umbrellas, but nothing has lasted more than two years. So I finally gave up and started using cheap umbrellas. This one is double-vented, so more stable in a breeze, and has a nice rich color, and cranks open and closed easily. I don't think it will last more than a year, but overall I'm very happy with the value.

Unflappable umbrella!
Other reviews are correct about the color - it's not burgundy at all, it's a vivid red. But beautiful! Looks a little Asian when not so widely open, like the roof of a pagoda. It even looks great collapsed! Like 3 skirts one on top of another. It's very windy and breezy all the time in our coastal town, and the umbrella, with its multiple vents, hardly even ruffles! Just stands there looking beautiful! I haven't tested it in stormy winds yet - I've been afraid to leave it up, after the wind completely destroyed my last umbrella, which was pretty heavy and sturdy. But the way the wind just flows right thru it, I think it'll do fine. Highly recommend. (Wish it really came in burgundy, though) ;). It's a keeper, anyway!

Great umbrella
I absolutely love this umbrella. I purchased the 10 foot in gray. It’s the perfect size for our patio table. I bought this to replace a 3 tier umbrella that had broken and this far exceeds the quality of our old one and it is at a much better price point than many others I’ve seen.

This Is Fantastic!!
Last summer, I had a flimsy umbrella, that blew over (with it's weighted stand) and broke three arms, the first week. ••• I found this 3 tier umbrella, and a far more substantial stand for it, and tried it out, the last two days. It worked out great! The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is because the fabric doesn't cover the different levels of tiers, so I still had the sun in my eyes. The goal of going with navy blue, was to block it completely. But, at least this one shouldn't blow over.

Best umbrellas so far
I’ve ordered many umbrellas, but these are far and away the best the open gaps, not sure what to call them. Keep these from blowing away or falling over. I have the 9 foot and I have the 10 foot.

nice design
I wasn't sure about the design but it's great in the winds in NC. It's been up with 41 MPH winds and no issues. Standard had to be taken down with winds over 25 MPH
