Coolest Bathroom
My friends are jealous. I have a urinal in my master bath. My wife likes that the toilet seat is always down. I call it the 'Mirage Saver 5000'. No water consumption, and no smell. Easy to clean, and the replacement parts are the most affordable of any of the waterless urinals. Install was super easy.

Urinal add-on to existing bathroom
The media could not be loaded. Video shows PVC Tee that ties urinal drain with existing drain that bathroom sink is associated with in the drain line configuration. Since getting a new drain line run would mean opening the wall and drilling through studs, I chose instead to make a secondary wall enclosure for the urinal which I used 3/4 inch plywood and studs to make, so it is strong to hold weight of urinal hanging bracket. I then covered the enclosure, or water-closet / Urinal enclosure with tile board, also known as Masonite. This has been a great decision since the urinal has it's own cubical and easy clean spray zone. It took me a weekend to complete and I have advanced skills in remodeling, plumbing, and I would say you need to be familiar with hanging a wall sink, or like building experience. Regarding maintenance, it is working well, however it's drain does discolor fron dry urine, as just about any urinal tends to do... I do dump a pint of water into its drain daily. I do recommend this product. Also, for cleaning...I recommend Nature's Miracle (stain & odor remover).

Absolutely disgusting. These things just let the urine ferment in the pipework. When changing the cartridge or servicing one of these you'll be greeted with the nastiest smell. It like etches into your membranes and doesnt go away for hours. You can literally taste it in the air.On top of that, when urine sits stagnate like that you'll get tons of deposits that can lead to clogs. So now you've gotta auger out all that stuff that been sitting in concentrate fermented urine.Disgusting. The inventor of these things should be put in prison.
