Anibild® Three Professional Creature DIY Studio Stop Motion Armature Kit Metal Puppet Figure for Character Design Creation 30 cm Tall

Please be aware that I haven’t tried to assemble anything yet, the product as literally just arrived.The quality of the metal seems to be high and I’m sure that it will work very well once I get it all sorted out. I’m not an experienced modeller and this is my firsts armature. I wanted to get something good so I could jump straight to the modelling part of my stop motion project. And I don’t have a work space or tools to make my own metal armature so this is a good option for me. I have to say I was a little surprised to find everything bundled in to two little bags! The picture of the product shows a big box, so I thought it would come with all the parts separate so I could see what’s’ what. But no. The box is actually quite small and it just contains the 2 bags and a detailed schematic of how to put together a human figure. Which would be fine if could work out what bit is what!I’m going to have to sort it all out, separate it and label it so I know what each bit is instead of rummaging through a little bag of parts and hoping for a lucky dip!I hope all the parts are there as it’s very hard to tell when its all shoved in together. I think for the price they could presented the whole thing better. I was genuinely disappointed when I opened the package.They did add some Walice and Gromit tea bags which I think is hilarious so they get points for that!

I just put a 5 stars grade despite I don't have one... but I want one of these. Unfortunately today (16th/july) it went "currently unavailable". My question to Amazon is...when are you offering this product again? I really want it and I really need it. Thanks.

As a junior puppet fabricator, over the last few years I have used and experienced many of the armature kits available but this is the ultimate one available and is the only one I will recommend and use myself.The joints are without a doubt the strongest and everything is extremely well balanced for creating nice smooth movement as well as an overall sturdy armature that is able to withstand the lengthy animation processIt is going to take something pretty special to top this!!

When I first heard about this kit I had no clue what to expect from it, especially after discovering it was endorsed by the late and stop-motion legend Ray Harryhausen.After getting the kit and having a good play around with the parts I highly recommend this kit to any student or professional stop-motion animator, though I do stress that this kit is ideal for beginners it may take some getting use to on the armatures weight and range of motion if your use to using wire for your armatures.For me personally I love the fact how versatility the kit is, not only you can construct a human armature but if you wish, you have the option to build a quadruped or even a Dinosaur (which is what I intend to use my kit for) and if you need more parts, they can all be bought from the company individually :-)Also I've had great help and advice from Animation Toolkit when faced with problems via their Facebook and customer service.You just can't beat service like that :-) this product gets a thumbs up from me!

No way to lock the components. Kit uses three different types of metal. Purchased thread lock but didn't work. Purchased stainless steel flux and silver solder and it didn't work. doesn't work. Useless because the ball and socket joints loosed on the threads.
