Outstanding product!
I used it to provide an external port to recharge an internal battery on a project. Excellent quality and construction, very cool looking (industrial look) and waterproof!

Doesn't work for power or data.
Tested this with an external hard drive, using two known good cables. Either cable by itself works fine, but put this thing in the middle, and no data or power gets across.I don't know what this thing is god for, but it's not good for USB.
