Zippo Luxury Diamond Design Pocket Lighter, Brass, One Size

This Zippo is cool as hell. The weight, the thickness, the look, the click, the process of refilling and tending... It just feels very raw and tangible and real, yet refined and regal. Beautiful like a little jewel but way more useful than one! I don't smoke or use it for much, but when I offer to light someone else's cigarette, it becomes the immediate object of everyone's focus and a deep fascination for those around. I used to do "White Glove Service" work where I may have needed to cater to a small whim of a high-end client, so I bought this as a way to tend to any need for a flame. Never needed to, but it really almost serves as an extra hidden part of my outfit whenever I go out or have an important meeting. Seriously cool and worth the money, to me.

I mostly just stare at how beautiful this gold zippo is. It's shinier than I anticipated. Excellent craftsmanship.

The carving design is absolutely stunning on this zippo and the gold plating makes it shine brightly, however the lighter insert fits Very loose and will slip out was if you turn the zippo upside down, it also makes the lid more difficult to shut… I’m not sure if this is an issue just with my unit or with this zippo model all together, I will try to contact the zippo repair clinic to see if they can fix this issue.

I'll be honest I was a little disappointed, particularly as a zippo enthusiast. But first the positives. The presentation is beautiful, the box was absolutely gorgeous and radiated quality and care. Very good quality Zippo feel. The armour cover looks identical to to the advertised picture, down to the red diamond. It's beautiful, and accurately proportioned to standard zippos too. The lustre of the metal is impressive too, with a caveat. The carvings were also gorgeous, and anyone who likes art deco would love it too. Unfortunately in my estimation, the lighter felt somewhat disappointing. Firstly it felt underweight, which detracts from the quality. This may sound like a quibble, or a stereotype of light weight being equal to poor quality, but as this is a vanity item it was important to me. The gold finish, while definitely impressive, could also be mistaken for a highly polished alternative metal to gold, due in part to the overall low weight . This may be my ignorance but an indication of the gold content would have been appreciated, and while I acknowledge this is gold 'plate', the price did fluctuate on a near daily basis during brexit, a sign perhaps of the relative value of the gold? Lastly and most importantly, the hinge joint felt moderately flimsy, or not well secured. It gave me concerns abouts long term wear and tear, although this is a vanity item and should not be deployed causally. Still for the light weight, gold plated, and flimsy hinge I expected something more solid, or substantial in hand. The negatives described here worked in concert decreasing the overall perception of what is otherwise a very high quality product. These have all been descriptions of the armour cover, but I have seen critiques of the actual lighter 'burny bit'. It's actually fine, and the colour blends nicely with the gold. I didn't see any problem, short of the wish that is weighed more. So ultimately a very good, excellently presented product, an exciting thing to unbox, and something very flashy for someone who is into that. If image is what you want, then this is for you. However if you want personal satisfaction for the sake of introverted collection, the points above may detract from your experience. Still a great deal of thanks to the firm for delivering a picture perfect product.

wenn man es günstig bekommt wie bei Amazon ist es ok. Den vollen Preis für 250€ ist es nicht wert. Die Oberfläche ist schon sehr rau und teilweise nicht schön gearbeitet. Das Gold ist schon fast zu aufdringlich
