This mini PC with W-11 Pro is taking the place of a office mini ATX case and mobo. The footprint is 1/10th of the original box. I do mount it on top of a usb powered cooling fan. Once it gets turn on, it stays on 7/24. I do not know how long the internal cooling fan will last nor do I know if it can be replaced on any BeeLink for that matter. The best I can do is filter the cooling fan updraft supply first. I am using the i3 to provide ham radio BPQ32 messaging service. HF port is SCS PACTOR modem P1-P4 speeds. The usb driver for W-11 is found on SailMail site. SCS doesn't support W-11. The 9k6 Packet port is via a DigiRig mobile and UZ7HO hs_soundmodem. Works perfect once you get the W-11 soundmodem configured. Radio is Yaesu FT7900. This i3 W-11 Pro mini pc seems to be perfect for the job at hand. Time will tell. At least it addresses the End-of-Support issue with WIN10 coming this Oct. There are vulnerability issues with WIN10 that should not be ignored! Using UltraVNC for remote console access. No RFI/EMI issues to date. Much more for the buck than the current RPi5. Excellent speed and easy to setup. Good graphics. Excellent CPU core/thread count and RAM. I am looking at i7 versions to replace other office workstations. That will be a different review.

Beelink EQi12 Intel Core i3-1220P w 24GB RAM and 500GB SSD The one thing you can always count on from Chinese companies is that the specifications are incomplete and conflicting. The quality is good, I am only talking about the description that you rely on when deciding to purchase. OS: No OS is stated yet it came with MS Windows 11 Pro It may act a little quirky while you are going thru all the updating, but once that is done, it works fine. i3-1220P: Tech is 10nm and Socket FCBGA 1744 BIOS: American Megatrends International dated 6/2024 SSD: Single 500GB PCIe4 SSD installed and claimed dual channel up to 4TB with 2TB x 2TB installed so there must be and open slot, but I can’t confirm yet as I have not opened case. MEMORY: As stated, LPDDR5 5200Mhz GRAPHICS: Intel UHD 64EU imbedded in CPU. States that it is eligible for ARC Iris Xe. If you go to Intel Driver and Support Assistant, it is indeed able to install the Iris Xe drivers as it does have dual-channel memory. I do not know what enhancements will come with Xe, but you will still only get the performance of the UHD. HEAT: I had the unit on for over 2 hours setting up, updating, installing driver and software and the unit never even got warm, and the fan was not on. I guess it only turns on when it gets hot. I did not feel any air coming out of exhaust ports and no fan noise. USB Ports: Here is where I am having trouble. Company claims (3) USB-A 3.2 GEN 2x1 (10speed) but I can’t seem to confirm even with device manager, It does list one 3.2 but others are listed as 3.0 and I can’t find any utility that will verify. I can say that the 3 ports are of 3.0-3.2 connections by the 5 connections on the one side. There is 1 USB-A 2.0 (4 connection and facing other direction) and 1 USB-C port that is (10speed). CONCLUSION: This is my first mini-pc and I like it. I have a laptop but as my vision is an issue, I need a larger monitor (currently 27”) and I can’t close the laptop completely so it gets in the way. I have no issues with it other than that it is pre-configured with auto-on (wake mode) to allow you to turn on remotely which I don’t think is a good idea for 90+% of users. Of course, to turn it off, you need to move a jumper which is inside the unit, and I have not taken the bottom off yet. Not a desktop and not a notebook but unlike a notebook, you can make hardware changes without having to crack open your notebook. I like that. I recommend and you are getting a full-fledged 12th Gen CPU, not a stripped down one.

Love it. Sure, it's no gaming rig, but that's not what I needed it for. It's a home office productivity center. It easily handles multimedia, Internet streaming, YouTube, "light" games, and office productivity programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). I'd buy it again. It's so tiny, ultra quiet and unobtrusive. I have two monitors connected to it and it handles both with ease. I tried connecting a 3rd through the USB C connection, but it doesn't appear to have that capability. At least not with a USB C to D-Port cable. Regardless, it's a mighty little device and I couldn't be happier with it even if I only have 2 displays.

When I got this mini PC, I knew there would be a setup process. But with a fast internet connection, and a solid state drive, I expected something different that what I got. What I got was a remarkable slow update process. Updates were taking so long that I pulled up the task manager to find the bottleneck. HDD activity was around 10%, CPU usage stayed below 20%. I checked my router bandwidth, nothing but little blips. But the update showed it was still in installing. Later when I ran WSL setup, it just hung in the middle of the install. Something was wrong with this machine. There were enough warning flags going off, so I decided to reset it from the backup image on the hdd. The restore from image didn't work. "There was a problem resetting your PC" When I restored from the cloud it finally worked. Repacked, shipped, back to researching new PC. I picked this mini PC on recommendations I read online. I think some things have changed in the build of this machine since then. Don't waste your weekend like I did.

Great replacement for an old Windows 10 desktop. Very small form factor. Very fast. Easy to set up.
