Lovely - Just what I wanted!
I looked all over the Internet for the perfect teapot, but none of the designs were really tickling my fancy (and budget). So I decided to look for the absolute plainest teapot that seemed to be a good value. This matte black teapot fit the bill. I've only used it once, but so far, I'm very pleased. First of all, it is absolutely beautiful in its simplicity and build quality. It is the perfect size for one or two tea drinkers and holds a bit more than its diminutive size would suggest. I'm actually glad I didn't go for a larger size because it holds as much as my much-larger-looking stovetop kettle, for whatever reason. But I will definitely look for this brand if I ever want to buy a larger teapot. It arrived (in perfect condition) much sooner than estimated from the UK to the US, so that's another plus as well, as I was very excited to receive it. Just in time for when a woman would really like some tea, if you catch my drift. 😉 The teapot was probably made in China, too lazy to check right now, but it definitely doesn't look, feel, or especially smell like that Alibaba crap that plagues Amazon listings these days. So if you're looking for an affordable, simple, and practical teapot, look no further!

STELLAR!!!
It's not often you find something and you say to yourself, "I'm SO glad I bought this," but for me, this is one of those times. I just received this aqua colored, British, (Bora) Betty teapot by London Pottery, and I can't say enough good about it. The quality is STELLAR!!! The thick ceramic walls make this teapot not only sturdy but they will hold the heat and give an excellent brewing of the tea leaves. The aqua color is gorgeous and it is color glazed completely; some teapots aren't color glazed down the spout or color glazed inside very well, if at all. Also, the final, exterior clear glass glazing is thick and luxurious; you can really see the difference. This teapot comes with its own fine mesh infuser in stainless steel, and the quality of the infuser is excellent as it will trap the leaves and much of the tea dust. As a devout tea drinker (can't drink coffee; don't like it, and it makes me physically sick,) I am so impressed with the quality of this teapot that I can easily say it is worth every penny paid for it. In fact, I am so impressed with this 2-cupper, that I have just sent for the London Pottery, Betty teapot, 4-cupper in rose. If you want an heirloom quality teapot, the likes of which you won't ever find at W***M***, and one that is a sheer joy just to look at, then a Global London Pottery teapot in your favorite color is the one to get. (I only wish they came in lilac because I'd get one of those, too!)

Favorite tea pot!
I love this tea pot. I use it almost daily. The green color, style, no drip spout, handle, darn near everything is perfect. I purchased another from London Pottery (cobalt blue) which was a six cup instead of a four cup. While I like that one, it is a bit heavy and difficult to pick up when full. Not so with this one. I just enjoy everything about it and if it ever breaks, I will immediately try to buy another (same color, hopefully). Absolute favorite tea pot and I hope to enjoy it for years to come. Shipping was as fast as could be expected (it traveled far) and well protected in its packaging.

Perfect little teapot
I like everything about this teapot. It looks nice and traditional. I leave it out when not using it because it's so cute. Some people mentioned that theirs leaked but I haven't had any issues with it and I might buy different sizes and colors, as well as some for gift. It would make a great gift for tea-drinkers.

Nice but not made in England
It’s made in China!! I searched everywhere for a teapot made in England and thought I’d found it in this one. It shipped from England, and no where in the description did it say China, but there it is in small print on the bottom of the pot. I am so disappointed and feel taken because I could have had a London Pottery pot made in China for less than I paid for this one. I couldn’t decide between three stars or four; but went with four reluctantly because this is a darn nice pot that makes a great cuppa. The included, custom fit strainer in a nice addition as well.

Perfect teapot does not drip!
What I like best about this teapot is that it does NOT drip! Great size (about a liter) and keeps tea hot while I eat!

tea tastes much better in this British pot
I love hot tea. This pot keeps the flavor within the tea itself without absorbing anything. So my English Breakfast, Ceylon and Darjeeling teas taste amazing. I bought this pot together with some porcelain tea cups, also made in merry old England which equally keep the flavor within the tea. The price is quite reasonable for the quality. Although if you prefer only ice tea, the cost probably not worth it for you. Anyway, this is a great product and if i break it down the road, will buy again.

I had this same teapot before but it broke so ordered a new one. The lid on this one sticks so bad, like to the point that I can’t even use the lid for fear that either it won’t come off or I’ll crack it trying to pry it off. So disappointing because I absolutely loved my previous one like this.
