Great Shoe!
These are great shoes! And they look nothing like the picture at all. They are much larger and sturdier and half shoe half boot. The picture looks like a shoe-ot is not a shoe. But I like the way they look-tough looking. Really cool. Just not how they look in the picture.

Comfortable and great value
I’ve been wearing these daily for about a month so far. I generally have some trouble with shoes fitting badly or generally causing foot discomfort, and I was worried these might be the same since I hadn’t tried Dockers before. I was pleasantly surprised - they were comfortable from the beginning. The leather seems to be of good quality; it doesn’t have a ‘plasticky’ feel like many low quality leather products do.I did get a wide, since some reviews mentioned the shoes felt narrow, and this turned out to be a good decision.I have cleaned the shoes a couple times with saddle soap that includes a leather conditioner. They look nice every time afterwards, and the leather feels a bit softer now than when they first arrived.Overall, I'm very impressed by the quality and comfort of these shoes, and it’s a great value for the price.

Good-looking casual shoe, midway between a boat shoe and a hiking shoe
I like the look of these shoes, and while they offer no arch support, they are fairly comfortable. The trade-off to their comfort, for my purposes, is that they are not made to last long. Compared to other casual moc-toe outdoorsman-style shoes I have worn in the past, the leather is thin and supple, and the soles seem insubstantial. They're definitely sturdier than preppy boat shoes, but on the spectrum of toughness, they are closer to boat shoes than they are to their hiking-style counterparts. If I had to be on my feet all day, I would not wear these shoes, because the materials don't give enough support for strenuous use -- but that's ok, because they clearly are not made for strenuous use. However, with daily use at a moderately low level of indoor and outdoor walking (I'm an office worker), I estimate I would get only 3 - 6 months of use out of them. If it turns out to be 3 months, I, personally, would not buy them again, because I can buy sturdier shoes of this kind from other manufacturers for $165 - $200 that would last a couple years. If they last 6 months, these shoes would not be a bad deal if you prefer a lighter, softer shoe to a tougher, heavier, more durable one. Which brings me to my next point: if you like soft shoes that require no break-in, you should consider these. If you prefer more durable shoes, which require break-in before they become comfortable, these shoes are not in that category. From a style standpoint, however, these shoes are a bit more versatile than a beefier shoe: like their lighter boat shoe cousins, they look good with cargo shorts and ankle socks, whereas a tougher, sturdier version of this shoe would look clunky and possibly out of place with shorts. These shoes also look good with jeans, khakis, and even light-colored (tan, bone) wool dress slacks. If I get 6 months of daily use out of them, I plan to keep a pair in my wardrobe.

Outfit Accessory
Husband likes them. He only wears them when he has to dress up. He says they are comfy but not something he would wear daily.

Bad Quality
I’ve had these shoes for 6 months of office wear. Within the first month the stitching popped and developed a hole on the top of the shoe. Within 6 months the sole split. Would not recommend.

My favorite work shoes
I am on my 7th pair so I think these deserve a review. They are my favorite work shoe. I hope they keep making these for a very long time. They fit well right out of the box. The water proofing has never failed on any of the previous 6 pairs. They typically last me 6 months. I normally do around 6000 steps a day in them on various surfaces. They do not say slip or oil resistant on the soles but I commonly walk through an automotive shop everyday with god know what on the floor with no issues. The uppers hold up great and probably could be resoled but it is just to easy to get a fresh pair from Amazon the next day. I hope they keep making these for a very long time.

Well built
I have been wearing these shoes for a few weeks and put off writing a review because I couldn't make up my mind what I thought about them. They are good looking, and they fit pretty well, but for some reason they aren't comfortable after a few hours. Its true there isn't much arch support. But I think what may be the cause of discomfort is their weight. They are as heavy as my high-top lace work boots! My cheapie shoes from Walmart are super comfortable and light as a feather, and I can wear them all day and never think of them because they are so soft and comfortable. So, though I wear the Dockers a lot, I am glad to take them off. I have decided that inspite of the high quality of the building materials, and their nice styling, I won't buy another pair.
