Cooking rice has never been easier!
OH MY! I have never been a gifted person who could cook rice that would come out consistently good. Sometimes it would be great, but most of the time my rice was mushy or not cooked all the way! One of my Korean friends suggested--NO--she told me she would never make rice in anything other than a Tiger Rice Cooker! Best advice I have ever taken! This little unit makes cooking rice so easy and effortless. My rice is consistently good all the time. Well, when I first got it I used warm water to rinse the rice and to put in the cooking pot--Do Not Do that! That was the only time I made bad rice in this Tiger Rice Cooker. It came out mushy, like oatmeal. Yuck! There are a ton of videos on YouTube that will take you through the steps of cooking in this wonderful rice cooker, if you can't understand the directions. The controls are easy to use and the "Keep Warm" feature is a life saver! Do not fear using the "Keep Warm" feature, I have never burned my rice--ever! The only draw back, is not really knowing how long I have left on the cook time, as there is no timer visible just a ready button that lights up. That mainly comes from my family being impatient and ready for dinner. This is not a deal breaker, I just start the rice first and then cook dinner. The cooker itself is durable. The cooking pot is scratch resistant but have never--ever used a metal spoon or anything with it. Cleaning is super easy, wipe down with a damp cloth and put it away.Cooking rice has never been easier! The Tiger Rice Cooker is so easy and flawless to use, my 26 year old single son asked for one so that he can cook his own rice at home! Best kitchen appliance purchase ever!

Can easily feed 4+ people
Fantastic rice cooker! The first cook had a burnt plastic smell, but was just fine after that initial cook. This is not as small of a rice cooker as others might lead you to suspect. It is easily large enough to feed a family of four (and some guests too!). It is super easy to use and is able to adjust itself based on the weight of the components within. While it tells you not to do a half cup of dry rice (a single portion) it cooks it perfectly well in about 15 mins. For four people, it cooks in about 25-30 mins. Highly recommend. Fantastic Japanese brand that knows what it’s doing.

Amazing - Simple, Easy, Consistent Quality
This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's incredibly easy to use and the rice comes out tasting great. The measuring cup makes it simple to gauge the amount of rice. I put some salt and oil in with it, and a bay leaf. It takes like 30 seconds to put it all in - then I can leave it for an hour and when I come back, the rice is ready to eat. The rice comes out easily using the provided spoon/spatula thing. It's honestly amazing how simple it is to cook.

It’ll last 2-4 years
So this is my 2nd tiger rice cooker of the exact same model.I would say for ~$70 these are good and they have about 2-4 yr life. Both mof mine lasted 3 years before i had to use the protection plan for replacement. The first one simply just stopped powering up after 3 yrs and the 2nd one stopped cooking rice equally leaving the bottom center undercook and soggy. They were within the protection plan period so asurion was able to replace by refunding the amount spent so i could buy a new but same model.I think maybe another flaw of this rice cooker ia that it collects an enormous amount of steam inside the lid when you leave it closed without removing the steam water it will expedite the rice going bad i guess due to the added moisture. So buyer beware. Make sure you buy a plan which is only about $7-10 for 3 yrs of protection

4 years and going
Been using this rice cooker for 4 years now and still going strong! Rice comes out perfect every time. I use it mostly for jasmine rice. It is very easy to use. Only tiny complaint is the water from the steam has nowhere to go so it just sits on the rim of the rice cooker.

Decades Of Tiger Rice!
I have been using Tiger rice cookers for decades. In fact, I bought this one to replace a perfectly good one that I've had for over 10 years - I told my wife the old one broke :). Here is my first rice result (see pic). I can't wait to make my famous rice soup with this new machine. Recommended.

Incredibly reliable and I can not recommend this enough to you.
We bought this rice cooker in March of 2021 and used it pretty much once a day and often 2X a day and it would be on for hours. Our rice maker just died. We had no question that we were going to get the exact same one.I can't understand how it lasted as long as it has.I highly recommend this rice maker.
