I thought I was getting a blocked nose at night, but turned out my nose was just closing. These have been a complete game changer, I can now breathe through my nose all night long again. So no more waking up with a dry unhealthy mouth. The essential mouth bacteria can thrive again.

I've tried the conical and tubular designs and they do have a positive effect on my snoring (according to my wife) but they're not totally comfortable. So, I thought I'd try these, despite the crazy high cost. Sadly, they not only have far less effect on my snoring, but they also fall out far too easily. Worse, I can’t return them, and to add insult to injury the price has dropped since I bought them. Not happy.

I was apprehensive at first, but decide to try this device after reading endless reviews. Initial use was unbelievable especially the difference when breathing in through the nose compared to it not being fitted. After four nights of 'normal snoring' according to my partner the device stopped performing, diverting back to my old ways. However, I must admit the device was comfortable and slept perfectly from day one of use. I read that the life expectancy of the device is within the realms of 30 days. However, I would say a week at best as the material had softened and lost shape. I will however purchase again to see if the next one last longer as I did experience a benefit to my sleep.

Bought this for my mother, whose snoring wakes up the family. On first impressions, the nasal dilators come in a small package in two sizes. Two different size dilators offer comfort for various noses. Instructions were easy to follow. Mum noted no issues with inserting. comfortable AND effective as no snoring heard. Will definitely buy after the recommended three months.

I didn't find this to be anything special and not as good as the nasal strips I had used in the past, where I noticed an immediate improvement upon application and deterioration upon removal, which was maintained. After one night the larger dilator had compressed, so it was only slightly larger than the smaller one, which meant it wouldn't widen the nostrils as much as intended. It also sits lower down the nostril compared to the nasal strips I have the flexibility to place mid-nose for best effect at the narrowest point. I also found the dilator half hanging out the nose one morning, so it wouldn't have done much! It's also a bit uncomfortable having something stuck in your nose, although it didn't stop me from sleeping. Disappointing given they claim of 76% more air when used. Maybe more air in the nostrils, but no good for me if I still can't breathe it in.

I was recently diagnosed with a nose abnormality which explains my 5 year history of snoring and dry mouth during the night. Basically, an operation is out of the question due to waiting lists on the NHS because of Covid, and also would not be guaranteed to work, so the consultant recommended possibly trying nasal dilators. I have been using a snoring app which gives me a 'snore score' and together with whether I feel like I've had a better night's sleep, I've been keeping a record of which strategies and devices work. I think I've purchased every one going - or I feel like I have! The small solid bucket ones, the adjustable ones, the basket ones and now these Airmax ones. Comfort and fit? Putting them in feels completely unnatural. If you don't push them in far enough, they are just an obstacle in the nose, but if you gently twiddle with each one to make sure that the flat 'paddle' is as far back as it will go, you suddenly feel very comfortable. It takes a bit of manouevering to get it right. I find the larger size doesn't move about too much and keeps my airways open much better. The other dilators worked a little, but some created a 'whistling' sound, which was annoying, and weren't sturdy enough and dislodged during the night. The adjustable ones were pretty good and opened my airways, but annoyingly only brought my 'snore score' down slightly. Whereas these Airmax ones worked all night through, and so far have brought my 'snore score' right down to between 15 and 20 (with no devices had averaged about 50). I'm delighted with it - as regardless of the snoring, I'm not waking all night with a dry mouth and I feel like I'm getting oxygen during the night. Can thoroughly recommend so far. My only criticism is that they are pricy and I feel like I'll need a few.

These are awful. I previously used nose strips—they’re not reusable and can be inconvenient—but I decided to try these as an alternative. Unfortunately, they’re significantly worse. The fit is uncomfortable and actually hurts the inside of my nose. They fall out during the night, and the design seems to restrict airflow rather than improve it. On top of that, they’re overpriced for what you get, especially considering there’s no refund process. I had to contact Amazon Support just to get my money back. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend these at all.

Funktioniert wirklich wie versprochen! Angenehm zu tragen, nach dem ersten unangenehmen Moment merkt man nichts mehr, außer dass man wirklich deutlich mehr Luft bekommt. Schlafe besser und fühle mich ausgeruht!

Non recensisco mai un prodotto, ma trovo che sia necessario farlo in questa situazione perchè avrei voluto leggere questa recensione quando stavo cercando una soluzione per migliorare la respirazione. Recensisco dopo più di una settimana di utilizzo, durante la quale sono successe un po' di cose. All'inizio la sensazione è che si respiri meglio, ed effettivamente la spinta meccanica sulla parete interna della narici fa il suo dovere egregiamente. Il flusso d'aria è nettamente superiore rispetto al normale, soprattutto per chi ha le narici che tendono a collassare su se stesse per via dell'aria che entra nel naso. Anche l'espirazione è favorita, aiutando a eliminare tutta la CO2 accumulata. Il prodotto è davvero leggero e per chi non ha troppe pretese sembra quasi di non averlo, tanto che io lo utilizzo sia di notte che di giorno. Tuttavia, durante i primi tentativi è normale che si crei una leggera irritazione sulle pareti del setto, dato che la leggerissima pressione, se prolungata nel tempo, danneggia lievemente la cute e la mucosa. A ovviare il problema ci sono un paio di soluzioni: la prima è dare tempo al tempo. L'irritazione iniziale scomparirà col passare dei giorni e il corpo si abituerà. La seconda, che in realtà non ho provato, ma che mi sembra ragionevole, è di applicare una modestissima porzione di lubrificante. Tutto sommato è un prodotto economico che mi ha completamente cambiato la vita: la respirazione è molto migliorata (da notare che si può usare anche durante le attività sportive e devo dire che anche qui si sente parecchio la differenza) e benché non sia la cosa più bella e comoda del mondo si presta a evitare operazioni di settoplastica.

Article vraiment efficace ! Dès la mise en place (facile), on sent plus de débit d'air, la respiration est améliorée, et les ronflements disparaissent ! Beaucoup de confort gagné pour le conjoint, et pour soi-même. Je sens que mon sommeil est de meilleure qualité, je me réveille moins fatigué, et je me souviens de mes rêves. Il y a vraiment un avant et un après. Certes, il faut s'habituer un peu au dispositif (ça chatouille un peu parfois), et il arrive qu'on le perde durant la nuit (si on se frotte sur un oreiller), ce n'est pas facile de le retrouver. J'aurais voulu mettre 4,5/5 pour ces raisons, mais c'est un tel confort que je préfère arrondir au supérieur ! Reste à voir combien de temps/combien de nuits il dure, mais je pense que quoi qu'il en soit je ré-achèterai !
