I use this thing so much
I got this for holding my phone on my bike, which I figured would allow me to use my phone as a GPS/bike computer until I saved up for an actual GPS bike computer. I worked well for that, but ultimately a GPS bike computer (like a Garmin Edge) just has more functionality to it so I still got that. However, I still use this thing, especially when I'm cycling on my indoor trainer. It's super handy to keep my phone easy to reach when I'm on my bike, and in a good position so I can see it and I can control music, watch a video, or run a workout. I've also still used it occasionally when I'm cycling outside and I just need to have my phone handy (e.g., for communication). My husband also picked up a second one that he uses on the grocery cart when we're shopping so he can have the grocery list handy. Pros: it holds the phone securely, attaches to the bike securely, easily attaches and detaches from the bike, and can be easily rotated, but no so easily that it just happens on its own. Cons: I guess the phone wobbles a bit on bumps? I'm struggling to come up with another con...it's just a really nice product if you're looking to attach your phone to some kind of tube or bar that's roughly an inch in diameter.

Nice basic phone holder for the price
I was underwhelmed when I first got this.Very basic. Just a few rubber staps for you phone and bike.I mounted it on the handlebar stem and put in my S7 enclosed in it's otter box for a nice tight fit.I went on a trail ride that turned out to be way harder than I expected. Uphill, downhill, ruts, tree roots, rocks, you name it. I was so focused on navigating the ride that I forgot about my phone. After a mile my ride app kicked in and started giving me performance info about the first mile. Yep, the phone was there, nice and secure.I road 4 miles on the dirt trail and another 3.5 on sidewalks and roads and through all of the jolts it held fast.So in conclusion it was easy as pie to install(And because of that easy to switch from bike to bike on a whim), it held secure, and was very inexpensive. Even if you buy a really good phone holder, this one is worth having as a back up.As long as it's durable, this is a great purchase.

Functional bicycle handlebar smartphone mount
Extremely easy to mount on your handlebar. It is easy to use; however, when mounting my phone the silicone grips can be tricky to push the corners of your phone into. The silicone is pretty sticky (which is necessary to keep your phone in) so often when mounting my phone, I hit the side switches to turn it off! The biggest problem is that the streets I ride are not smooth and clear: there are potholes, speed humps and bumpy sections that make for a shaky ride. My phone has actually fallen out onto the street a couple of times. I now find myself holding the phone when going through some of these "challenging" areas. This then makes it challenging to keep your bike stable through these areas. While this is not an issue or problem with the Nite Ize, it is an issue to be aware of. It does rotate easily and is generally functional. If your city streets are in better condition, you will be perfectly fine!

Works great on my road bike
I have used this phone holder for a biking season and 2500 miles on my road bike. It has handled most rough roads great. My phone did come loose once on a board walk but this is extreme terrain. I would buy it again.

Great mount for general cycling purposes
For cycling around town, etc, this mount is perfect. It holds my phone (in its case) securely without requiring additional hardware, case, magnets, etc. The mounting location is convenient, secure, and easy to install. Occasionally, I go out on my bicycle to play Pokémon Go, and this mount allows me to keep an eye out for interesting Pokémon, and I can catch them while the phone is still mounted. I’m not sure that I’d use this mount for downhill/mountain biking, but for anything less rigorous, it’s great.

Great, simple phone mount for bike probably best for use with thinner cases.
Not sure why I was asked to rate “suction power.” This thing doesn’t use any form of suction.Anyway, it works great, very stable and easy to use as well as easy to pop off the bike and take along so it doesn’t get swiped. And it’s just as easily installed securely on any handlebar, stem, or top tube.It held my honking iPhone 8plus in a slimline silicone case no problem. If you have a thick, life-proof case (like the kind you might want on a bike), you may have different results as the corner straps seem like they wouldn’t accommodate something so thick. It does seem a little pricey for something so simple and basic, but this brand is known for simple and well thought-out design. So I guess that’s what you’re paying for. They’ve clearly done their homework.

Well made, easy to mount, rattles your phone.
I like the way it mounts and it holds the phone very securely. It's easy to get the phone in and out. However, on a rough street, the phone rattles more than I like. It seems like it could shorten the life of the phone. It makes me want to put a piece of foam on the mount. All in all, a good product, but you shouldn't have to customize it.

Works o k on indoor trainer
I have a Galaxy S23 with a relatively slim case and it holds OK. I'm not sure I would trust it on any sort of rough terrain.I use this when I'm on my indoor trainer since it's connected to an app on my phone. When I'm riding out in the world I just use a regular bicycle computer.I like how easy it is to attach and remove my phone for workout.
