Almost a good idea!!
First use before board was wet worked good to carry down to lake. Than got a little wet (not soaked) and it just kept slipping while trying to carry my board back to car. It was frustrating and I haven’t used since. More work to put on and have soup than worth.

A great help!
This strap is wonderful! Does the job of distributing some of the weight to my shoulder while I can still hold the board with the handle to take some of the weight there. I disconnect the three parts of the strap when I get to the water. I put the shoulder strap around my waist under my life vest. I roll up the two straps that go around the board and put those in my pockets. And off I go!

Works okay, the shoulder pad seems to slide too easily and like to slip off my shoulder.
