Fantastic knife. This is a substantial knife, pretty much maxing out the idea of "pocket", but it's not so big as to be a pain. It's just sizeable and solid. Even with the larger, heavier blade, it still flips open single handed very smooth and easy. If it doesn't lock open when you first try it, just add a little flick of the wrist and it'll snap into place. Once open, it feels very secure, with no wobble at all. The handle is curved well and in my bigger hands, 3 fingers lock in. My pinky fits on the outside, but still comfortably. The jimping and shape of the back of the blade fits my thumb well and makes it an even more secure grip. The blade has a clean satin finish and is plenty sharp out of the box. It's size makes it more suitable for utility than delicate procedures, but it tapers to a nice point that would suffice for little things if necessary. This is a great camp knife. Held up higher on the grip and it's perfect for digging in, stripping bark, etc. A looser middle grip is great for slicing. Held toward the back, with a little swing and I used it to cut back pumpkin vines and other plant stems.

Wow, this knife is well made, smooth action, the best ergonomic size and weight are perfect for me. This is more knife than I expected. Very sharp and a nice overall heft or size and weight. This is my new favorite knife. There's no lanyard fitting but you don't need one. Best action opening & closing ever!!!

Ms. Amanda is right. This puppy is a chunk monster. An exceptional value in my opinion. I appreciate heavy knives. Fit my hand perfect, just like a set of brass knucks. Razor sharp out of the packaging 9Cr18Mov steel. Takes an edge quickly and easily and keeps it. Smooth G10 scales, stainless end caps for that timeless look. Don’t understand the blue ribbing is, so when I disassemble it for cleaning and lubrication, I’m liable to leave it out of reassembly. Mines not loose and rattling at all, just doesn’t add to the appearance. With the bright clip and end cap you won’t be stealthy. Flipper could use a jumping as it’s smooth but I have no problems handling it. Now the bad thing. I came back here to purchase another one, and they’re out of stock. That sorta aggravated me. I like it enough to review it out of stock and nowhere to be found on Amazon. If your large like myself, when you find one grab it. You won’t be disappointed.

Well-made, hefty knife. Flips open easily and locks solid, with very little blade pivot slack. Very sharp blade. Unfortunately, the blade isn't the only sharp edge! The liner inner edges, top and bottom, seem to still have the edge left after shearing the metal, and no sanding or grinding. When releasing the liner lock, your thumb gets shaved a bit by these edges, and just handling the knife my hands and fingertips are....slightly raw. I think I'll disassemble it and sand down the edges for more comfort. Still a wonderful value! But literally has "rough edges"!

If I designed a knife for myself this would be it. The blade is my favorite and the hefty ness is what I like. Good feel in the hand. It opens quickly. The only thing I found odd was the plastic blue saw tooth spacer thingy. Hope it stays put but if it doesn’t I’ll make an aluminum replacement. All in all this is an exceptional knife. I also bought a sheath to wear it on my belt. I looked on you tube to learn how to shape it to fit this knife. I wetted the sheath slide the knife in and formed leather around knife. I put it in the oven with knife at 135 degrees for 2 hours. (Leave oven cracked slightly) worked great !

I really wanted to deduct a star for the weird piece of blue G10(?) along the back of the handle. If it really has to be there, it would be so much classier in black. But alas, every time i take it out of my pocket and open it, all i see is awesomeness, so five stars it is. It arrived very sharp and has held its edge well so far. It's not assisted open, so i usually have to give it a little wrist flick to lock it in, but it's extremely smooth. All in all, this is some beefy boom for the bucks. You should buy one.

Really nice knife , everything is great except the cheesy plastic piece on the handle … Totally ruins the look of a good knife ….

This knife exceeded all my expectations when I bought it. It is very comfortable in the hand, heavy but not too heavy, it's nice and sleek looking, very nice blade. It is also very sharp right out of the box, cut paper, nice clean lines almost all the way down the sheet of paper. I absolutely love this pocket knife, seems heavy duty enough to be a every day carry knife, I'll update if after some time things change but it seems like a very well built knife, would definitely recommend.
