Best dongle ever
Best and better than Huawei & branded dongle from idea, airtel, Vodafone or any other.It automatically installs all necessary drivers and d-link connection manager software (like mobile partner from idea) to manage connection and that software is also better.D-Link dongle providing 0.9-1.2 MB/s download speed & 150-250 KB/s upload speed over my Vodafone 3G connection which is 50% more than other dongle available in market.Rich in size & design.Best SIM CARD slot that won't damage a lot on sim chip if you keep inserting & removing card.No need to unblock dongle and supports all company's SIM Card and connect over 4G, 3G, 2G network what ever is available.I am a technical person and i love this dongle and this is the best and keep using this dongle for next 4+ years.

Not what you would expect from d-link.
For all those people who are wondering if this device works with a charging adaptor, It doesn't not.You can't connect to this through wifi.You have to plug it inside your laptop and then you have to use D-Link software to connect to internet.And for the product I recieved was faulty. It was frequently disconnecting and losing signals. I had to use the connect button again and again.

Cheating by amazon.Amazon also making false promise as returnable but actually does not give you option to return the item.

excellent product , I think this is best 3g/4g dongle available in market. I used it with a bsnl 3g sim, it works fine.

Works on linux.
Will work on any new Linux distribution out of the box. No need to install the 'driver's.In case yours is an old Linux distribution, just eject the detected corresponding cdrom device (/dev/sr0 or /dev/sr1, sr2 etc...) and a modem will be spawned which can be used just as a standard modem using your networkmanager or using wvdial.In networkmanager or wvdial, just do not set the APN (or INIT3 string), the device will pick it up automatically. Older versions of networkmanager do not allow this, so you may face issues on it.However the serious issue with this modem is that keep disconnecting. This happen on all of Windows and Linux machines.Also that SD-card reader is a joke. It's HDHC only in 2021. Just ignore it.
