Kernals Seasoning - Ketchup 125g

I can't speak for others on the taste as we all have individual preferences; however I absolutely love the taste of the ketchup seasoning. I feel it is a great substitute and I catch myself reaching for this product instead of bottled ketchup. I keep a container in my car for when my french fry addiction hits me. This is much easier to use when you are not sitting at a table and it's also good for people watching their sugar intake. I tried multiple powdered ketchup options & this by far is my favorite. I can't find this product at any store so I'm very happy I found it on Amazon.

If you know about ketchup chips you probably know that they are sold in Canada but not the US. The ketchup seasoning has been a great substitute and has been a stocking stuffer win for my husband each year!

Yumm, other than the elusive jar i once found at Trader Joes this is hands down the best ketchup powder ever!!! It’s tangy, savory, little sweet and salty. I use this on my buttered popcorn!!!

Tomato flavor is definitely there. It does come out fast, it is not as powdery as I am used to for popcorn flavors. I was wanting something like Herr's brand ketchup chips and it does taste like those chips.

Tastes just like Ketchup. My son sprinkles this on some Lays potato chips and it reminds him of Ketchup chips that he use to buy when he lived in Canada but not available in the US.

Tastes okay, but doesn’t satisfy that Canadian Ketchup chip flavor or ketchup seasoning that Canadian theatres have. Its not bad, but its kind of one note and more like a savory salt that has more flavor, rather than that smoky, earthy, tomato-heavy flavor I am searching for. Also the color is a bright red, and the Canadian seasoning is a dark red, maroon, color. Still searching for the perfect ketchup powder. If you’re desperate for this, it’s just okay.

This stuff is great I love it! Put it on potato chips, popcorn etc.. I bought this because it’s so hard to find ketchup potato chips in the United States. Taste great I love it. Will continue to buy it!!

Of course this is an amazing seasoning for popcorn but don't just stop there! Think of this as a spice and use it in other applications as well! Here I made roasted sunflower seeds and seasoned them with this ketchup seasoning. They came out amazing! You basically need 4 ingredients: sunflower seeds, ketchup seasoning, salt and your choice of oil (olive oil or butter work great). Coat seeds with oli, flavor with the ketchup seasoning and some salt and just bake (around 20min at 350° for pre-baked seeds. If using raw you'll have prepare them first IE. Soak/boil/dry & bake)

Flavour is good but could be better. Bought all the flavours and grabbed this one cause I love ketchup flavoured chips. A bit on the sweeter side for my taste, but still enjoyable. Will stick on popcorn with butter or oil but not so much on dry popcorn. Would buy again.

This ketchup popcorn flavoring is so amazing. I remember I used to get it when I'd go to the movies. Every time we have a movie night we pop some popcorn, add some butter and shake this all over. There is a minimum purchase of two bottles but honestly it's so good you can go through a bottle pretty fast with weekly movie nights. 100% recommend. Also at the time of purchase it was a much better price than purchasing directly from a Kernel's location.
