When you just can’t revive the old grout
The media could not be loaded. Easy, complete coverage, easy cleanup. I have sealed tile it is probably 25 to 40 years old and this stuff worked great. I had to replace some loose tiles and when I use the grout that came with the house I realize the big difference in those years of use so I use the grout pen and it works great now I’m gonna do my whole house.

Looks great
My light colored grout took alot of damage with the flooding that happened and could never get it to look right. I got a few of these and my grout looks new again!!!!(I used sealer after the stain was dry to seal in the color)More than happy with this purchase.Easy to apply

Works well...
Works pretty well. Dries quickly. Just a note - if you are trying to make the grout lighter then you will probably need 2 coats of the grout paint. Overall looks good!

Serenity of Satisfaction
I’m here because my landlord wasn’t receptive to the idea of having someone come in to renew the grout in the bathroom prior to me moving in. After going over what DIY options I had, I felt this was the by far the cheapest and least labor intensive method for me (Cost = $9 US / Total Labor = 2.5 hours, including prep cleaning).I read some of the other reviews and found them to be helpful when deciding upon the single pen or the double pack. For my small bathroom, one pen did it all in one generous coat. Although I did go over some spots more after the first coat to touch those up. I used almost every drop of paint in the pen at the point though.I initially had difficulty choosing a color because I felt that the beige color was just too dark based on the color of the pen cap in the product photos. However, information gathered from previous reviews showed that the actual color was far lighter than the cap color, so I went for it.You can see in the before photo that my grout was quite bad in some places. And while the condition of the grout in those places is still compromised, it looks far better than it did. And for $9, I feel like it was the best ROI, I’ve gotten all year, hahaha. In conclusion and based on what this product is intended for l, considering and its ease of use and efficacy, I got to give up 5 stars. It did exactly what it was supposed to do and the results speak for themselves. I’ll have to monitor its durability over some time and update this review as needed. But so far, I’m pleased.

I hope it's more than a lick and a promise
I wanted to change the color of the grout and the color, beige was perfect. A quick fix.I applied two coats and it covered the eye sore dark taupe grout beautifully. Why would anyone use taupe colors, it makes your house look dirty.I didn't have any issues with the pen. Shook the pen, primed it a couple of times and then used a 45° light glide motion. I went forward to the end of the tile and then reverse, I wasn't using the same side of the pen.I did not prime it while I was painting the grout. My nib didn't tear up on any of the three pens and really it didn't take much time at all. I think it probably depends on the texture of the grout you're covering. Mine for the most part was smooth.Hope the color will hold up. Fingers crossed. But it being a water based paint I think it will just wash off.It is not a sealant nor is it waterproof. The description is misleading. The packaging does not say anything about sealant or waterproof. It just says it is anti-mold.**Update** Dropped to 3 stars because it does wash off if use you too much water and pressure while cleaning. Wonk wonk. Maybe after applying it put a sealant over, might make it last. Also, the color changed over a couple of weeks. It no longer looks like beige grout even in areas that never was used. It has a tinge of a yellow green hue..like makeup concealer. Weird.

Easy to use
Accidentally bought two different colored grouts when we did our backsplash, and didn’t realize it until we had finished! This was a quick and easy fix- had no issues with application and we love the way it looks!

Seems to work well
Easy to use, easy clean up if you follow directions. The cream color is pretty much white so I also ordered the tan which matched better.

Works for a quick fix
Update-I steam mopped my floors and there was no sign of the grout paint coming off. Everything still looks good and I even noticed one of my kids had gotten blue toothpaste on the floor which would’ve stained the old unsealed grout, but it wiped right off!I’m not a fan of my bathroom tile or the lighter color grout (it never stays clean with kids and pets) and can’t wait to replace it, but until then I wanted it to look better. Our grout wasn’t sealed by prior owners, so it’s crumbling and discolored in many areas. Don’t expect this pen to make grout look new, but it definitely provides an improvement. I wasn’t super careful when filling the lines, but I was able to go behind with a paper towel and wipe where I got excess on tiles without removing the entire line with no problem. I allowed it to dry for an hour or so and we had company over that night with no odor or issues smearing with people walking on the floor. My only complaint is that the flow was sometimes inconsistent and I had to prep it again on a piece of cardboard a few times during the process. It’s yet to be determined whether this will hold up long term as I haven’t steam mopped my floors yet, but for the price it greatly enhanced the aesthetic so I think it’s a great value.
