The first leash lasted many years, hopefully this one will as well. It's strong, a nice length, and true to color.

Very durable! Color is great! No complaints at all! Just what we needed. Fastener is sturdy and hooks to collar easily.

Let's really dive into this one. THIS is a basic leash. For pets. Specifically for my dog. She's a border collie so she's a medium sized dog on the lower end of the spectrum. 45lbs to be exact Now when I take my border colliefor a walk, I want a sturdy leash - no frills - no funky bungee stretch or extra handles or retractables here...just a plan sturdy leash. That is this leash. The handle - big enough for my hands, my husband's hands and if Andre the giant were still with us, he might be able to hold the handle too. And the stitching is nice & sturdy The clip - it's a metal clip on a swivel so for active dogs, the leash won't twist up Again, it is metal so it is too heavy for a small dog...of course, since the leash is 1" wide, this is not for cute little velcro dogs. Get a narrower leash if you own a little furbaby The leash body...it's 1" wide so again, this is not for little dogs. It's all one piece (leash & handle) so it's nice & strong for excited dogs that like to take YOU for a walk Bottom line, this is a high quality basic leash without the unnecessary frills for a great price.

This is better material than a lot of other cheap leashes. Works well for house leash, a puppy, or walking a smaller dog. We ended up buying a second one for our adolescent dog when she started to regress a little. Good value for money.

I don't have to worry about replacing it. It's strong.

I usually use a retractable leash but those don’t work on my new pup, especially because she’s a bigger dog vs my old ladies being little ankle biters. It’s super sturdy and well made. It’s easy to redirect when trying to leash train and overall comfortable to use. I think the only thing is that it’s a little shorter than what I’m used to using, so that’s more of a user problem than the actual product. Also, I’m probably going to have to repurchase within a few months or so, because it’s slowly fraying from biting and chewing. I’m sure if my pup wasn’t being a raptor and putting everything in her mouth it’d last us waaaay longer, but the price point I got it at wasn’t too bad and I think it’s paid itself off already compared to how often we’re using it since it arrived.

We’ve had this leash for over three years and it has worked great for us thus far. The 1” x 6’ (widest size) leash may be a bit overkill for our little 20-lb Chihuahua mix, but hey, we’re not complaining. I like having the wide 1” size because it is easier to grasp. If your dog likes to pull when walking, I recommend getting the 1” width leash. The narrower the leash, the harder it is on your hands if your dog is a heavy puller. A lot of the negative reviews are attributed to the metal components (clasp, lever, lock, bolt) breaking. This hasn’t happened to me after three years, but then again, we have a relatively small 20-lb pup to walk. HOWEVER, we did use the leash for about a month on a 70-lb pit bull mix. Although the leash survived like a champ, it did put a lot of painful strain on our hands with the massive pulling strength of that dog. With large heavy pulling dogs, you’re better off with leashes that have padded handles. In the entire time we’ve had this leash, it has not come undone on us once. As it relates to the material, we see no issues, the nylon fabric hasn’t started fraying or coming apart on us. To give an idea on our utilization of this leash, it’s been basically used every day for three years on an average of 1.25 hours a day. Other than that, not much else to say about this leash. It’ll work great for all small to medium size dogs. It’ll even work great with large dogs as long as they are not heavy pullers. All in all, great leash!

I have bought several of these, color matching to each dogs/cats harness! They look great, are colorful, light yet strong. Good product.
