I am a paranoid water snob. If it's not filtered and I don't trust it, I will dehydrate rather than drink tap water. I have a great Klean Kanteen, but that requires having water on hand I am comfortable drinking. Having a filtered bottle means I can fill up anywhere with confidence.I looked at a lot of filtered bottles before heading on a camping road trip through the UK. I picked this one based on reviews and price. It's a unique design; the plastic is compressable, so you squeeze the water into your mouth. It's nearly effortless once you get used to squeezing more and sucking less. (My friend got the Britta one on the road and it was hard to draw water, plus you can't squeeze the bottle.) My bottle did not leak. Only when I didn't tighten it, and that's on me. Also, the first sip you might get a dribble from the residual water in the top, but that's not a leak. The filter is easily removable. So far, it hasn't built up any weird smell or bacteria, and I've been using it for nearly two months. It doesn't always fit in a cup holder, because of the bulbous base, but that didn't bother me at all, because I could lean it anywhere without worrying about leakage. This bottle kept me hydrated for over 1000 miles, filling up at gas stations and cafes, no problem. I can't speak to how well the bottle filters, but it gave me enough peace of mind to drink without reservation. I was very happy about that. Sure, it could be bigger, but it also fit nicely in my travel backpack. Overall, extremely satisfied.

This bottle is the best portable bottle for filtering water that I've tried, and I've tried many. It's the exact same size as in the specs. I travel internationally and to India a lot, 100 days last year. In India and many other places, you can't even brush your teeth with water out of the faucet, even in 5 star hotels. This thing saves you when you can't possibly pack enough bottled water for all your needs, especially for drinking. I normally will get as much bottled water as possible, wherever I am, but, this bottle with a built in filter, minimizes my need to use bottled water for non-drinking tasks, coffee, teeth brushing, mouth rinsing and times when bottled water is just not available.The water flows very well. I've tried others that take muscle to squeeze out the water...not with this one.I'm writing this review because I can't believe it is rated 3.5(to date, with only 8 reviews(1 being a 1 star, due to the size being too small). I'm also ordering 2 as my last one lasted just past a year of regular use(probably filled and emptied 500 times in a year until the filter broke. It de-attached from the nozzle. Oh well, it was probably time to replace the filter anyways. I'm ordering 2 this time.

We have well water and for years I used Bobble water bottles because I could replace the filters inexpensively, they fit in a cup holder, and didn't cost an arm and a leg.. Bobble was sold to another company and disappeared. The only filters I've found cost over $40 and the filter inserts don't work. Enter Dafi. I have been using my bottle for a week. It took a little getting used to since the filter isn't attached to the mouthpiece and you have to lift it out separately. Squeezing the bottle to drink is easy, the water tastes great and the mouthpiece cover won't get lost. A wonderful replacement for my Bobble.

bought these to cut back on buying cases of water bottles. Wasn't really impressed, I guess i gauge my water on taste, but it tasted the same from the tap, or through the filter on this bottle. Used for about a month, and then tossed it, still looking for a decent water bottle with a filter that can make tap water taste like bottled water from the store.

I've tried for awhile to find a filtered bottle I like. Brita and Kor work alright, but Brita isn't spill proof and Kor has an awkward mouth piece. This bottle seems to work just as well as those, but it's way cuter. I really like it! Also, the little ring is nice for being able to hold it.

Love getting fresh tasting water even if I’m at a drinking fountain or a sink for refill. Very convenient & my kids like using them too.

Not a good product. The bottle top is really small, no ice cubes can fit through it. You can't leave it in the freezer to cool. The bottom bulges out and won't return to it's original shape. I left the bottle in the freezer for two hours, it did not freeze solid. The bottle bottom popped out and will not pop back in.

I'm using this bottle at work as I type this and, while it does seem to filter the water well (no weird tastes or discoloration from our drinking fountain water), it does leak on me every time I use it. It's a squeeze bottle so you have to kind of squeeze the water out, but in doing so I always get at least a few drips down the front of my shirt, which is not ideal. Overall, though, good value for the money and seems to work well with filtering.
