Was a suitable replacement for my OEM part.

This product is just as described. I only wish it was made out of metal or a more rigid material. Unfortunately no one makes it out of a sttonger material so the fact that there are 4 of them definitely helps. These clips break often. This specific product does seem to be tougher than most!

Soft plastic, bends easily, won't support windows. These clips were the right size and shape and seemed like a good idea, because the soft plastic was less likely to crack and break than the rigid plastic of the OEM parts I was replacing. The OEM parts lasted 20 years, these replacements only made it 20 days before the window was popping out of place and the clips were sliding along without the window. The clips didn't shatter, but they bent out of shape and left the window behind. E46 BMW window regulators are very prone to breakage as is, don't add another failure point. Spend the extra 5 dollars and get something that will hold the window in place.

Window clips worked great for my e53 BME X5. Used the license plate holder trick from YouTube to make a more permanent solution for this weakness in a $50,000 vehicle... but built like a tank! 249,000 miles and counting!!

Had to drill out the centers to get to work.

Clips accurately do not fit on a 2002 BMW X5, there were actually about a cm short of reaching the bottom of the window seal. Sucks to pull a door apart and window out to discover the item you ordered doesn’t fit.
