Didn't work correctly and overpriced for it's lack of features
I work in EMS and I decided to get this to use both for family, as well as use it while on a BLS truck without a monitor.Initial impressions seemed fairly positive. The unit itself moderately sized- about the length/width of a Nintendo 3DS when opened up, but obviously much thicker. When I first opened the box I saw a universal power adapter which I thought was a bit weird. When I opened the actual pouch the unit came in (which was a nice touch!) I saw that the power adapter has a European Type-C plug. I guess they must've given me the European Model, but it did come in English so.... It did let our a rather unsettling large spark of electricity when I plugged it the wall.I first tried the hand-held mode which.. did not work at all. It kept saying no contact. Well whatever, so next I moved onto using the limb leads (making sure to set the mode to limb) and yeah, it worked, albeit with some artifacting. It unfortunately only shows 3 leads, despite having 4 electrodes which could easily offer up the augmented vector leads... Even more bizarre is the firmware actually has options to view leads V1-6, not sure how they manage that without a 12-lead.... I also noticed it also does pulse-oximetry. I thought great, I've got a USB probe so I can try it in this unit since it has a USP port. Well, No. What the images don't show is that the pulse-ox only works using their proprietary six-pin adapter, which is clearly marked on the actual unit itself, just not on the images. Oh you can buy one from their site, it's $125 or so.... Yeah Uh after shelling out almost $250, I'm not about to drop more.... I mean I probably would have kept it if the hand-held EKG mode worked but, yeah no, it's not worth it with that busted.tl;dr:PROS:Color displayLarge display4-limb connectorsAudible alertsCarry caseSpO2 monitoringPC Software has nice featuresCONS:No augmented vectors for EKGPulse-ox not includedEU model(?)Artifacts on EKG waveformLow Gain

So far, I have been able to only use the hand-held parts of the monitor--those gave a good enough signal for my doctor to tell me that my arrhythmia is a harmless variety. I have not been able to get the chest electrodes to work--I keep getting the message that there is no contact. I *hope* that this is due to the supplied electrode pads being dried up and defective, and not due to a faulty connection within the device. I've ordered some new electrode pads and some electrode gel and will see if I can get that to work. If the chest electodes worked and gave a good signal, I'd definitely give this a five star rating. I'll update this review after I see if I can get the chest electrodes to work. Otherwise, four stars for the hand held function.Edit: I got some new 3M electrodes and some electrode gel and tried out the chest measurement mode again. After a lot of finagling and liberal application of electrode gel, I was able to get one good chest reading. After I moved the electrodes into new positions, I was not able to get another reading. So if the stars are aligned and my fingers are crossed, I can get a chest measurement. Otherwise, no. In other words, if my life depended on it, I would probably not be able to reliably get a chest reading. My four star rating remains since it's a good hand held device. And the one chest reading I was able to obtain was excellent quality.

Works well, not super user friendly, hence the 4 star rating
I bought this because I was experiencing a very low heart rate while I was sleeping. With some struggling I was able to get it to work in all modes. I was able to download the software and upload the data from the monitor. I think what helped me out was my nursing background and I am somewhat computer/gadget savvy. Nice product Hopefully the info I get will be able to help my Dr. I did a 48 hour holter monitor with them, but of course I didn't have the symptoms at the time. Caught it on this monitor. Now going to do 3 to 4 week study with my MD.

Expensive Unit with little or no Diagnostics
This unit may say "your heart is a little fast" or slow, or 'your heart beat is irregular", but I see no real diagnostic capability in this unit. There is no message that says your heart has PVCs or PACs or AFib. So, I returned it.

External lead plugin poor connector
The unit does work as advertised, but have to put pressure on the connector that the leads attach to the device to make it work. No pressure on connector leads to no contact error.

Didn't beep on heartbeat when in continuous mode
All the other features looked good, but I needed a heart beep in the continuous monitoring mode. Not able to use without that.

Not so friendly and accurate
No so easy to use and gives different results depending on where you place it.
