Butchers & Chef's are very passionate about their knives. There are an important part of their trade. These knives have to be transported safely from A to B, on sometimes a daily basis. This carrier fits the bill. It's waxed canvas, that becomes supple with use. I use it for about 5 of my "important" knives & steel & I'm more than happy with it. There are a few "Snowflake" comments on here about cutting fingers & the bag when using it. I thinkit boils down to having respect for the equipment you are using?

Looks good but quality is very poor. Very first day 2 tear when folded with knife inside. Not really good for extra sharp knives.

Bought this to protect a new set of cooking knives and what a great job it does! This canvas feels so thick I think I could make cowboy chaps out of the same material and saddle up and ride off into the sunset. Seriously thick material which I am sure will become more pliable over time and develop a nice patina. In a world where so many products these days feel cheap and nasty, this feels nice and tough.

This might be okay for normal every day knives but not suitable for professional use, my knives sliced through the seams upon first use meaning all my knives where bundle together loosely. If you are chef you now this is frustrating as can destroys knives.

It is a surprisingly good knife roll bag. It is thick and durable enough, and the material keeps my expensive knifes clean and safe. Aesthetically pleasing too, the strings on the bag are durable, so I'm not worry about it will break. Would definitely recommended.

Caben los cuchillos muy bien. Las costuras son duras y preparadas para que al meter los cuchillos no se corten. El tejido es muy duro y como si tuviera algo de grasa (pero no mancha).
