Excellent Quality!!
First thing you'll notice is this thing is heavy, it will not move around your desk!It reminds me of the long gone 1980's IBM PC keyboards from back in the day that were heavy as bricks. The keys are pretty much perfect height as I returned Red Dragon and Corsair membrane keyboards because the keys were just a bit too low for a man's larger hand/fingers. Pretty quiet keypresses, not silent, but way less than the clickty-clack of mechanical key keyboards. Now I don't get complaints from another room when I'm typing at night. Speaking of night time, the key illumination only has OFF-MEDIUM-FULL lED brightness levels. Medium brightness happens to be perfect for me (I was a bit concerned about only having two brightness levels), so your mileage may vary there. You can turn the key illumination off with a single dedicated button that controls the illumination level, but the letters are not white like a non-illuminated keyboard which makes them hard to make out without illumination. You will probably find you'll just leave illumination on all the time, it's really gorgeous anyway with illumination. I can type at full speed with this keyboard, no issues with hitting other keys because the tops of the keys are decent size. I really can't find anything I don't like about this keyboard.FWIW- my use case is I'm an IT guy, so all typing, no gaming on this keyboard.TLDR: Goldilocks membrane keyboard... give it a try, you can always return it if you don't like it.

Liked it so much I bought two
It's a cool-looking, quiet, rainbowy keyboard that is easy to use. Plug and play with Windows 11. I bought a second keyboard to use on another computer, so I'm definitely satisfied with it. I mostly use it for writing/word processing. I have used it for gaming, mostly walking sims and puzzle games. I don't know whether it's fast enough for games that need super-fast response times. The backlit keys are great for using in dim lighting. I'm using one with a Startech ten-foot USB extension cord, and it works fine with it.This keyboard also disassembles for easy cleaning. The keys can be unsnapped and lifted off to access the flat plastic panel underneath. One of my keys was sticking, so I (carefully) used two loops of string to pull the key straight up and off, so I could clean up the sticky spot with a damp cloth. After that I simply snapped they key back into place and it's worked fine ever since. There are metal key-lifting clamp tools available on Amazon that I would recommend if you want to clean your keyboard regularly. For occasional dust, crumbs, bits of paper, etc. I sometimes just run my vacuum's tube over the keyboard and that gets rid of most of it. A paintbrush or makeup brush also works wonderfully. I would buy this keyboard again - and I have ;)

Overall great
Feels good to type on. Maybe a bit muted but I don’t mind at all. Lots of different colors and a good size. The only thing I don’t like is that the top most buttons don’t light up, so I gotta use a light to change the volume

Bright colors.
I got the HyperX Alloy Core RGB Keyboard, and I am genuinely impressed with the combination of affordability, functionality, and vibrant RGB lighting that this keyboard brings to the table. Designed with gamers and casual users in mind, the Alloy Core RGB stands out as an excellent choice for those seeking a feature-packed keyboard without breaking the bank. The first thing that caught my attention was the keyboard's striking RGB backlighting. The customizable lighting effects add a touch of personality to my setup, allowing me to match the keyboard's illumination with my mood or gaming environment. The vibrant colors and dynamic lighting patterns, easily controlled through dedicated keys, make the Alloy Core RGB an aesthetic delight.Typing on the HyperX Alloy Core RGB is a satisfying experience. The membrane key switches offer a responsive and tactile feel without the audible click of mechanical switches. The quiet keystrokes are ideal for shared spaces or late-night gaming sessions where noise might be a concern. The full-sized layout with a numeric keypad ensures versatility for both gaming and productivity tasks. The dedicated media controls are a practical addition, allowing me to adjust volume, playback, and lighting settings on the fly without interrupting my gaming or work. The inclusion of quick access buttons for lighting customization and a Game Mode that disables the Windows key during gameplay further enhances the keyboard's user-friendly design.Durability is a notable feature of the HyperX Alloy Core RGB. The sturdy build, reinforced plastic frame, and spill-resistant design add a layer of reliability, ensuring the keyboard can withstand the rigors of daily use. The matte finish on the keycaps contributes to a comfortable feel and prevents fingerprints, maintaining a clean and professional look.Setting up the HyperX Alloy Core RGB is a breeze. The plug-and-play functionality ensures a straightforward installation, and the detachable USB cable provides flexibility for cable management. The keyboard is compatible with both Windows and macOS systems, making it versatile for a variety of users. While the Alloy Core RGB lacks the mechanical switches found in higher-end keyboards, it compensates with a budget-friendly price point and a quieter typing experience. The compromise in switch type might be a trade-off for some enthusiasts, but for those seeking an affordable and visually appealing gaming keyboard, the Alloy Core RGB delivers outstanding value.
