Cobra Study Set 6 X 20 ml (25820406)

I tried these colors and what I loved most about them is that drawing with them is smooth and wonderful, and even cleaning the brushes does not require the solvents that are used to clean brushes from traditional oil colors!

I have been using other brands of water based oil colors and wanted to try these for comparison. They consistency is a bit liquid, which is good for brushwork. I work almost exclusively in palette knife technique, which may be unsuitable for the juicier consistency of this paint. If impasto is desired, Dorland's wax (a thickener) could be added, but it would make the colors more transparent. I'll continue to use what I've bought in conjunction with thicker oil paints, but I may not exclusively switch to this maker.

This is the prettiest oil paint I've ever used. When it dries it has a sheen that no other oil paint has. Oil or water mixable. It, does take a while to dry, but it's worth it. I ordered the small size to go into my thumb box. Perfect1

Didn't know what to expect. Very pleased , colors are vivid, blend well. Can't compare with other mixable oils but I would buy more of the Cobras for sure.

Love, love, love water mixable oil paints. About time! No odor, easy cleanup. These are very small in size though. Get the 200 ml ones if you're a serious painter.

very happy with the purchase. I bought to try the paint before buying the artist quality. I can use it with water or with oil. It dries a little slower but the quality is exceptional. I will recommend to anyone who want to buy them

They work pretty well, but they seem to be watery. More liquid comes out of the tube than with the other brands I have used.

Very pleased with this product! It is a cross between oil and acrylic!
