I've used this over a year for just over 10 hours no problems. This Tach/Hour meter was easy to install on a little cheap GenMax generator I bought on Amazon. I was able to cut the appropriate size window in the gen plastic, and mounted this meter in just a few minutes using the supplied instructions. It works as it should and has been pretty accurate keeping up with the run time, which was mainly my goal. The tachometer appears to work as it should also.

I put it on my portable generator it works well I wish it was about an inch bigger

This is a simple easy to install marine tachometer. The wire was too short but I added about 6 extra feet and it works flawlessly.

Used it on my motorcycle to tune the carbs, now it is on my lawn tractor engine. It runs on an internal battery which is not replaceable no idea how long it might last.

Always thought my lawnmower was running at top rpm like it suppose to. It was cutting fine. Installed this tach and saw its rpm was 450 rpm lower than recommended. Adjusted throttle cable to get up to the factory rpm and it runs and cuts a lot better. Air cooled engines need max rpm to operate efficiently and cool correctly.

I spent an hour trying to get it to work. Never got any reading from it. I was trying it on the plug wires of a 4 cylinder car.

Five stars for easy to install.Four stars for accuracy as I have nothing to compare it to; its a tachometer for a lawn tractor. It appears to be accurate. I needed it as a benchmark to check engine rpms. It does seem to register appropriately.Four stars for instructions; the instructions on operation could have been a little clearer.Overall, this was a good purchase as it does what I needed it to do.

Installed on my boat so i can keep up with engine maintenance and it works as it should.
