I used this as my guide for the switch version, does exactly what it says on the book.. Tells you the walk through, with some photos and secrets, etc

As someone said its half a guide, buying a walk through for £41 you'd expect EVERYTHING to be in there but was rather disappointed when told to check specific things out online, the whole point of buying it was so I wouldn't have to check it out online, everything in one place would be nice. That being said it is a Great walkthrough for the storyline and monster info etc, everything's really well illustrated, not so great for the secrets. Piggyback is amazing at what they do though and is always the 1st factor I look for in guide buying, just disappointed with the 9 guide, all other guides are amazing

Do you like final fantasy 9? Do you want to do everything in the game? Do you want to look at some lovely drawings done by the artist? Do you like book?If all your answers are yes and more then there's not much to say.And while you can get everything online theses days without buying this book, for those die hard fans it is recommended to get this book in the glory days of Final Fantasy

I like having the guides for the FF series for second and onwards playthroughs. This guide is not very good at informing you where items are or when to do critical missions.Half the book directs you to play online for more information which i suppose was good when it showed the right information but that was years ago and now there are just massive chunks of information missing.

Really good item and in great condition. I have no complaints.

The guide is good but not great. This is because the strategy guide references to Square-enix's "Play-Online" service for certain intricate secrets and details. The service is not even accessible anymore, rendering many parts in the guide, regarding secrets totally useless. It's quite unfortunate they decided to add something online-reliant to a printed book.
