The black eye lenses appear sturdy. The clip itself is made from a strong plastic and you do get lense covers that helps protect the glass. You also get s little cloth pouch which makes it easier to carry them around in your bag or pocket but I would have preferred a harder case as I think that would offer more protection. When clipped on to the phone it’s quite stable. I have an iPhone XS and I did find it a bit fiddly to get it positioned over the phones camera well enough so that it didn’t obscure part of the picture but once you get the hang of that it works well. All in all a great little bit of kit that gives you some extra functionality with your phones camera
