It has a sweet taste, can be used as sugar. You need to combine it with a healthy diet to really see any effect (I have yet to see some). The product doesn't mention from where it extracted the glycine, if you're buying it then do find out.

I've ordered glycine from profood like 1 month back.. i am giving review after a month using.. i am taking this as pre-workout 200mg with l arginine nd l citrulline.. And At Night Around full of 1/2 teaspoon 2.5gm like 2500mg every night by 9pm or 10pm it's makes me relaxed and helping for good peaceful sleep.. i feel recovery faster.. its not sponsored review i am genuine buyer just helping to letting you guy know my experience which is very good.. I've really got the good results i mean even though I'd never get any side effects from it, i am recently adding with in taurine same amount mixing.. also both are giving me peacefull sleep and giving me fresh energy in the morning i think its also helping my sex libido also.. I've felt that.. and i mean i think i am holding my erection too then before.. i recommending for everyone... I am taking other supplements also... The package says it is 100% Glycine no additives. Glycine is white, crystalline, and sweet. And the powder is like that. But the issue is the package also lists for 1000mg of serving you get 100mg of Glycine. Am OK with that. But what's the rest 900mg made of? Chalk powder? Filler? Glucose? The seller doesn't answer this.

The quality of the product has deteriorated over a period of time. Very unsatisfied with the taste of the product.

Glycine is a naturally sweet tasting protein. Can be used to substitute artificial sweeteners in all your cooking, but please note, you require a very small quantity - for example, <1/4 tsp to sweeten a large cup of tea. Any more and you will spoil the taste and of course, its not even needed in larger quantities to benefit from consuming it.I use it as a bio hack in combination with a tiny pinch of Taurine powder (from the same manufacturer) mixed in my tea to enhance the quality of my sleep.
