Fair quality, but seemed a little too oxidized.
Inexpensive magnesium ribbon. Magnesium ribbon usually has oxidation/corrosion on the outside and needs to be sanded before use. It may not burn well or it may have contaminants if you don't clean it first. This magnesium seemed to have an excessive amounts of oxidation, more than other magnesium strips I have used before, so it required extra time and effort to clean.

Good for thermite
Great for sparks in diy fireworks, also great for lighting thermite. you get a good amount of ribbon and its rather thick (hard to light) but can be shredded down for shavings if you want, really useful. fun for any pryotechnics out there to have in stock

Worked great in a chem classroom
Used the product to have students experience a synthesis reaction by burning the magnesium ribbon in air. The ribbon was easy to cut with either scissors or by repeatedly bending the ribbon until it snapped. Though it took a few seconds, students were able to light the ribbon with a long match. This minimized the need for lighting Bunsen burners, improving lap safety. Also worked well for when combined with 6M HCl, producing hydrogen gas. Suitable and cost effective way to demonstrate different types of reactions in a high school chemistry lab.
