Dog Fox Poo Shampoo 250ml

If I could give this shampoo 10 stars I would. After an incident earlier this spring with one of my dogs finding the worst, nuclear-grade poop to roll in, I WISHED that I had this on hand then. I hardly expected to find something that treated this specific type of problem, and, as anyone who has had to deal with it will agree: fox poo should be classified as a biological hazard. Since we have so many foxes out in the country where we live, catching my dogs before they find the stuff when we're out walking is a constant challenge. (Remember, they use fox pee as a cover scent during deer hunting season for a reason. The other discharge is just as rank, I promise you.) The one dog who was so overjoyed to find and roll in... it... spent several hours in-between washings while I tried to find something in the house, or the neighbors, that would get the smell off her and off my HANDS. GAAAAH!Well, this evening, I relived my incident of the spring, with TWO of my dogs, who got ahead of me and were delightedly rolling in the.... stuff... when I walked up on them this evening, smiling with their happy doggy faces. They couldn't roll around in it fast enough. I resigned myself to my fate, and crossed my fingers that this shampoo would do the trick, without me having to get out and mix various household bottles and cans to find something that will get rid of the clinging smell, even after multiple shampooings.THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!! After I hauled out one dog from under my desk and carried him to the tub (happy dog faces now gone, in my head, they were saying to me, "I think I smell GREAT! What's the matter with you!? I don't WANT a bath!"), I first tried this other oatmeal shampoo that's supposed to be *the* odor remover, but I could still smell *it* everywhere, after the first shampoo and rinse. So, out comes the Animology Fox Poo shampoo, which smells terrific, and it eliminated any residual nastiness, without having to shampoo more than once. Although, having to do two dogs, well... Animology couldn't prevent that. Darnit.Also, the seller, Frank Rowe & Son are OUTSTANDING in their customer service. When I ordered back in June, I had a small issue with my shipment, and they fixed it IMMEDIATELY. I could not be more pleased with the product or the seller. I swear to you, I'm not gushing because I'm being paid or something. I'm just SO elated that I'm not at this moment still scrubbing one or the other of my dogs right now because I didn't have this stuff.God help me if this stuff is ever discontinued. I'm certain a general panic will ensue, at least in this household.

My dog - a little cavapoo - loves to roll in deer poo - UGH! The smell clings to her hair. The first time it happened I washed her 4 times!!!! with her regular shampoo - which I love - but it did not get rid of the smell. Thereafter I tried various other shampoos and even soaking in tomato juice per the vet's suggestion. None of these things worked. In desperation I searched on the internet and came across this product. It is the only thing I have found to work thus far! Thank you for creating this product. If you can create something that would teach my dog not to roll in deer poo, I would appreciate that even more! LOL

My puppy smells cuter than most because of this shampoo. While I do find it fun to try bathing him I quickly realized i ended up getting much more of a bath at the same time so wanted to find a product that was safe for humans too. My dog and I love the great smell of animology and I feel like he gets more attention because of it... even though that makes me completely jealous! Great product overall!

We brought this back from a trip to England as a present for our sweetie who likes to smell, well, not sweet. It does the trick better than any else we tried.

This is a good smelling puppy shampoo. I have only used it once so far, but it seems to leave the coat in excellent condition.

This caused horrible matting and knots in my dogs fur I had to end up cutting out !!! Very drying!! Do not use on a dog with double coat!!!!!!!

If you have a problem removing the pungent aroma of fresh animal faeces then this is the shampoo for you. Fox, Deer, Sheep, Cow, Horse ... no guff is too tough for this fantastic odour remover. Many a time I have returned home after a long walk through the fields with Molly covered in some kind of animal dung. I used to just leave her chained up and would hose her down in the back yard, but as the weather got a bit colder I’ve allowed her into the house and into the bath. Usually a good scrub with a wire brush, some soap and vinegar gets rid of the smell but when she’s been rolling in Fox poo, she stinks. Anyone who has smelled Fox poo will tell you it’s horrible. It’s like the stench of death and rotting bird carcasses all rolled into one disgusting, nausea inducing stink. But for some reason, Molly loves rubbing her face into it, smearing it all over, which causes problems when I have to clean her. I really can’t see why she loves it so much, but after trying several methods of cleaning her, I happened across this shampoo online. It’s excellent stuff. Just a few drops has her smelling lovely again. Highly recommended, and I might even buy some for the dog.

Very mild delicate shampoo for puppies. We gave Bella her first bath using this shampoo and it was great. Very mild so she had no irritation and has a very mild scent. The only negative is it doesn’t lather up very well. But I’m very happy with the final results. Her fur was left feeling soft and fluffy. So is perfect for puppies

It’s an ok dog shampoo. Don’t get me wrong he comes out lovely and clean and really shiny but he smells like wet dog when he gets out of the bath. If you aren’t big on lingering scents this will be perfect for you. When using the shampoo smells great but it is incredibly runny and you need a lot of it to even get a bit of a lather! It smells like baby products but as soon as it’s rinsed off theres just no scent left on his fur! As mentioned previously he just stinks of wet dog. I personally love scents and would prefer my dog to at least smell better when he gets out of the bath. I will use up the rest of this shampoo but will be looking for something that leaves a better scent behind once bathed.

My lovely dog rolled in a dead rat, the smell was quite disgusting and she was thrown straight in the bath. I had bought this shampoo months ago as a just in case and this was the first chance that I had to use it. She really did stink and this shampoo worked in one wash. It was, of course, late at night so I had thought that one wash would do and I'd wash her again in the morning. I didn't really believe that that horrendous smell would come out with one wash. But it did! She didn't need a bath the next day and I think that she was almost as happy as I was about that. I wouldn't use this for every wash, she wasn't as soft and fluffy as she normally is after a shampoo with her normal shampoo, but it is great to have on hand in case you need it.

I'm a bit of a neat freak and a first time dog owner. My cockapoo is very furry and gets dirty easily, especially because we take him out on big nature walks and mud just gets everywhere. I wash my dog with this about once a week and there is no skin irritation, the smell is nice but not overwhelming, and it effectively gets dirt out of thick, curly fur. I will say you need to use a LOT to get a good lather going, but even so, one 250 ml tube lasted us 8 washes, and the dog is always super soft and nice smelling afterwards.
