Constantly in reverse mode
After owning this value for 4 months it constantly is in reverse mode and the polaris doesn't go anywhere. I disconnected it and now my polaris goes everywhere.

This is not a Polaris product. When returning, you have to pay postage to Mexico. DON'T BUY!
I bought a cheap valve last year and it was stuck in reverse mode soon after I got it. I decided to pay more to get a "Polaris" as advertised. It worked for a day, and then once again only went in reverse mode. 'I looked closer at the package. It says Makhoon, made in China. This is just false advertising. Charging more for a genuine Polaris part and substituting a cheap imitation.I requested a return. I was given a mailing label with an address from Mexico. The charges to return have to be paid by me.

Quick receipt of item and works perfectly
I am not a 'do it yourself' type of person, but my pool cleaner was getting stuck in the corners. I purchased this and it was delivered quickly. The instructions were simple to follow, and now my pool clearer is working as it should. Full stars.

Works on occasion.
There doesn't seem to be a regular pattern (time frame) for this device to perform as expected....but it does work on occasion. Because of my history with this type of device the next question is longevity.
