Exactly as Advertised!
Excellent product and quality. The emi/rf protection works as advertised as far as I can tell. My high gain guitar tube amp is noticeably quieter plugged into this one rather than the 25+ year outlet it replaced. At this price point it can't be beat. The green light lights to let you know the MOSs are still intact and performing their function to protect your electronics from power surges. Nice to have an indicator that lets you know when to replace, rather than relying on an arbitrary amount of time to replace. The way the outlets are arranged makes it much easier to plug everything you need in, without having to worry too much about the plug bulk. I'll likely be purchasing another one for the home theater room. For the peace of mind it offers and cheap insurance policy with the 5 year warranty, I think this is top-tier.

Lowest Cost Noise Suppression/isolator Surge Protector
I have several higher end surge protectors with noise reduction and purifying qualities. This one is has a lower rated noise supression rating (40db) than the others however it is roughly half the price. It looks good and does reduce electronic hum/noise, just dont expect high end audiophile grade performance. Imo, you should replace all of your old white/bargain bin surge protectors with one of these, most surge protectors dont inclide noise suppression which is a valuable feature to have. Not only does it provide cleaner power but it also protects against interference. It also protects 3400 watts which is enough for a high end gaming pc or an esports pc and a media center. The LEDs are pretty cool too, not blue but green which doesn't hurt your eyes as much and is much more diffused than a standard LED dot. The outlets dont grip as well as my higher end audiophile grade protectors, but they're on par with standard surge protectors.

This is a quality surge protector power strip from EchoGear at an extremely affordable price
This surge protector power strip has 3,420 joules and a VPR rating l-n 330, l-g 400,n-g 400. l-n is the most important of the 3 (l-n,l-g,n-g ). VPR is the most important thing about a surge protector power strip and 330 is the best rating possible. VPR is when you get a power surge the rating that allows limited electricity to get to your sensitive Electronics like TVs or PlayStations so they don't get damaged. The lower the VPR the better the higher the VPR the more electricity gets through and can damage your TV. Every time you turn on your microwave in your house there's a power surge that attacks your TV or Playstation or whatever sensitive Electronics you have plugged into the surge protector power strip and over time it wears it out. If you have your TV plugged into your wall outlet directly without a surge protector power strip then when you turn on your microwave your TV has no protection and it keeps taking those mini hits of electricity spikes wearing out your TV's electronical components faster. Or if there's a lightning strike and it hits your house's power lines indirectly your TV is probably ruined. This surge protector is rare because you usually get high joules and high VPR or low joules and low VPR. High Joules means that your surge protector can keep taking electrical hits without wearing out the surge protector power strip quickly. And 3,420 joules is very high and good. This surge protector power strip should last for years. And VPR is what protects your equipment like your sensitive TV components from getting damaged. This surge protector power strip is rare because it's extremely affordable with a high Joule and low VPR. I don't know how they did it. The simpler the surge protector power strip the easier it is to have a low VPR when you have a surge protector power strip with USB plug ins plus 12 Outlet plug ins the wiring is more complicated so it usually means a higher VPR which isn't good for your sensitive Electronics like a TV or Playstation. So if a eight outlet plug ins is good enough for you, I highly recommend this surge protector power strip. It has LED lights in a green color that says Grounded and Protected if you ever see the Protected green light go out you'll know that the surge protector power strip has done its job of protecting your TV or your PlayStation and now it has no more ability to protect your electronics so you need to replace it. Which is a nice feature because if you don't have that you don't know for sure. And if the Grounded green light ever goes out then you'll know there's a wiring problem with your outlet on the wall so have a electrician look at it. This surge protector power strip has been tested by UL so you also will want to make sure that any surge protector that you buy is tested by UL or ETL. And up to those standards or the VPR that they claim it is probably isn't the truth. It's a cheaper surge protector making claims about VPR that probably won't be backed up when there's a power surge because they aren't willing to spend the money to have a outside company like UL or ETL test their surge protector power strip to make sure that the claims are the truth. It's extremely hard to find a VPR rating on a surge protector power strip. Unless you have it in your hand and you look on the back of the surge protector power strip which is hard to do when you're ordering it online. I am not an electrician I just did a lot of research and until I did that research I never heard of VPR before. Just remember the VPR ( Voltage Protection Rating ) is the most important part of the surge protector power strip because the whole point of a surge protector is to protect your sensitive electronics and not all power strips are surge protector power strips. I highly recommend this surge protector power strip. You can find it for under 30 bucks easily and it's an extremely good deal. A surge protector is what protects your electronics in a power surge and a power strip it is what gives you multiple outlet plug-in options. So when they combine a surge protector with a power strip you get the best of both worlds. Just remember power strips are not for permanent use on high demand electricity power tools or to use to power a refrigerator or a space heater permanently there for temporary use under 2 hours or they could heat up too much and start a fire. But you could use a surge protector power strip for permanent use on lighter drawing Electronics like TVs and Playstation safely. Just make sure that if you have all eight outlets plugged in and along with your TV and PlayStation you also have plugged in a vacuum cleaner and space heater. A vacuum cleaner and space heater draw a lot of electricity and that could be a problem if you are exceeding this surge protectors 1,800 Watts it also has 14 AWG wiring on the cord which is good. And one last thing do not plug your surge protector power strip into an extension cord it is to be used only when plugged directly into a wall outlet this is a much safer way to do it. I highly recommend EchoGear's 8 Outlet

Nice quality surge protector that seems (mostly) well thought out.
Build quality on the power strip seems pretty high, and there's plenty of room for wide plugs on the 3 spaced out outlets. I really like the amount of protection it offers, i feel safe having my gaming PC and TV plugged into it, which is really good being in a place that gets bad lightening storms during the summer. I also really like the easy to see indicator lights that show if it's properly working. The sliding dust covers are nice to have as well. But the reason for 4 stars is the plug. I genuinely feel like it should have one of the flush style wall plugs, or even better a flush 90 degree plug, it's just nice being able to push furniture closer to the wall if it happens to be plugged in behind something. If it had one of those i'd say it'd be perfect.

Solid unit
Solid numbers (joules and such), grips 🔌 good and tight. Green light that I think is pretty cool but may be disruptive for some especially for sleep.
