Best among all the converter I have
I have converters for different brands for different pens. None come closer to its functionality, quality of construction, and high capacity. I bought two Kakuno because of this. It's push-button, like a refill pen's push-button fills the ink. No slow screwing. Capacity is large. The construction is sturdy. It makes ink-filling very fast and practical. I wish pilot prera or other sub 4000 Rs pens could use it. I like the Kakuno fine nib, but it does not have a clip. Shipping was fast and reliable both times.

Great ink capacity
Bought this for my 'Pilot Explorer' fountain pen. It's a perfect fit, works like a charm. I've used multiple inks and have had no flow issues. Filling up the convertor is easier than the piston type (in my humble opinion that is), as just a few pumps on the top is sufficient. Also, it can be done single handedly.

Fills decent quantity of ink
Using it with my Pilot Kakuno, looks dope inside a demonstrator piece. Actually makes the kakuno look more aesthetically pleasing and premium then it is (which the pen is not intended to), for the shiny metal bits it gets seen through. It goes to the end bit of the barrel and makes the demonstrator looks complete with less unused space. Is the largest Pilot converter you can get but is actually bit pricy. The metal bits are cool but the plastic bits feels bit flimsy and feels it can easily be broken with slight pressure but since it’s job is to stay inside the barrel, I’ll just be a little careful. It’s a good converter to have if you have multiple pilot fountain pens too.

For me, the Pilot Custom 743 just may be the perfect pen. Substantially the same design and the same nib of the much-vaunted Custom 823, but with a converter instead of the vacuum fill. I don't want a converter so small that I have to fill it after practically every writing session. Still, to paraphrase a 16th Century Italian playwright, 'One should do with lovers exactly as one does with ink colours*: Have many, enjoy them one at a time, and change often.' The CON-70 strikes the perfect balance between ink capacity and change frequency. It fills just fine through the nib and the button, but I find it less messy and more efficient to fill from an ink syringe (easily found on Amazon; I use a 1" needle). Filling from a syringe can lead to dry starts with cheaper pens or different converters, but with the CON-70 and No. 15 nib of the Custom 743 the ink flows immediately and it always writes like a dream without issue. I've seen some people recommend a different converter for each ink colour to avoid transfer issues. I simply use a longer syringe (3-4" needle that can extend to the very back of the converter, pictured) and completely flush out the nib and converter with water between fills. That can leave small water droplets in the CON-70 that could (in theory) dilute the ink in your next fill; you can either blow it out with compressed air or I just leave it to dry overnight. If you want to refill right away, it will likely be just fine a bit wet, or just have a spare CON-70 in reserve (hence why you are here!) The Pilot Custom 743, paired with the CON-70, more than live up to the hype. Happy writing! *the original quote says 'clothes' here. But it holds true for fountain pens, so Guarini will forgive me.

A wystarczyłoby napisać to w opisie pióra...

Er passt perfekt zum Pilot Kaküno Fountain Pen ++++++++++++++++++++++ I got the converter for my newest Kaküno Fountain Pen. In the beginning i thought i got a broken one and then noticed that i was send the most recent Model that just came out June 2020. The Con-70N Converter from what i saw on the Japanese Website holds the exact same amount as the Con-70 and the only difference is the metal collor in the middle of the tube thats supposed to help and support filling up the Converter to the Maximum. Overall im really satisfied with my purchase and can only recommend getting a Converter.
