I keep hearing great things about these peanut butter inventions by The Protein Works and finally gave in and got this one to try (it was their only dairy free option).It is definitely delectable! It reminds me so much of Biscoff Crunchy spread (which I love); there’s that familiar warm spice to the flavour, a sweet caramel-like flavour and aroma and an enjoyable crunch from the little biscuit pieces. What differentiates it from Biscoff is the addition of peanut butter and cocoa which are wonderfully balanced so you can taste all the different elements in this spread and enjoy the biscuity texture.It’s well-mixed too with a satisfying thick texture that's great for spreading. I found it to be quite a sweet-tasting spread though (despite the low sugar content), so for me it feels like quite an indulgent dessert spread that I’ll have as a treat rather than as an everyday thing. Very very good though and if you enjoy chocolate spreads, peanut butter and Biscoff, I definitely recommend this one for you.O t h e r N o t e s :Only the flavour listed as “Choco Caramel Biscuit Tidal” is VEGAN, the other flavours in this range contain dairy, eggs etc so make sure you get the vegan one, if that’s what you need.

I use this on all sorts and it tastes the business and delivers a good whack of protein.

Arrived on Oct 15th with an expiry date of December. I appreciate that’s probably more Amazons fault sending older stock rather than the manufacturers but something to watch out for if you weren’t planning to have to eat it every day to get through it in time.Also watch out for it being effectively half liquid even after stirring.

The flavour was not my favourite compared to other options but it is still good value for the protein content per serving.

The good stuff:- Damn tasty- Real ingredients- Perfect balance of heathy and (just a little) sugary- Doesn’t glue your mouth shut like most but buttersThe bad stuff:- Has a slight sweetener taste- On the expensive side, but warrantedI’m so impressed with this. I’ve spent years looking for healthy spreadable which didn’t taste like death. The problem with most of these “healthy” spreadable alternatives is that they’re packed so full of sweetener that I can’t eat more than a teaspoon without turning into a gas filled balloon. The jury’s still out on whether ingesting so much sweetener is really ok for you too.This tastes great and I’d much rather take a little bit of natural sugar over something that’s almost half sweetener. I also find eating plain nut butters gets real boring real fast. I don’t think I’ll have that problem with this one, it’s potentially the best tasting nut butter I’ve found.

I bought this to test it out. I was disappointed as the product is difficult to spread and lumpy.Pros• Flavour is ok, not the best.• VegetarianNegatives• Very difficult to spread.• I was expecting so much more in terms of a spread and it was lumpy and difficult.• Recipe needs improving.• Better spreads on the market.I would not buy this again, as it didn’t live up to my expectations and it’s suppose to be a spread, but doesn’t feel like one. Don’t expect to be blown away by this product as you will be left disappointed.

This is by far my favourite flavour of the Loaded Nuts range. It isn’t, however, worth the full price as at the end of the day it is only peanut butter. I get this when it is on offer (I’m always checking the price on here and the ProteinWorks site) so when it was down to £3 I snapped it up straight away as that was a bargain!

Wow amazing, the taste is incredivle. I have never tasted a peanut butter with any extra flavours in it and this just blew my mind literally. I could just eat it with the spoon, forget about the bread lol
