Great whistles quite loud though one thing is you'll be heard in a session

Very dissappointed with this whistle. In the lower octave it sounds like a cheap recorder, the higher octave is incredibly sensitive to blow pressure and if you're the slightest bit off you get squeak or just a dead note. You really have to blow hard too, the octave up again is almost out of the question. I figured this being the higher end whistle from Susato you should expect good things from it. I have returned it now and it will take a lot for me to consider another whistle from Susato. Totally lacking in any of the sweetness of a whistle, or chiff. A lifeless plastic tube.

I am disappointed with this whistle. It is easy to clean and will definitely not tarnish inside. However, it needs a lot more blow for the higher notes which I am finding difficult to sustain. Not what I expected.

arrived safely and only three days after ordering.Has a great bell like tone rather than the more metallic sound of the usual tin whistle.Found the thumb rest very useful and something that I could have used on my old tin whistles if I could have got one to fit.very pleased too with the very secure padded packing.Would recommend this item.

This is a scam! It's not a Susato but its Chinese copy. No brand name on the product, not to speak about the missing thumb rest.

Good for the price.

I love my new whistle. You can tune it and it has a lovely sound. It is fun to play as it does not squeak easy!! Great for a band situation and using with a microphone. It came with oil for the joints a fingering chart and a case too. This would make a lovely present.
