Great for beginners. There are lots of useful diagrams that are well explained. The explanations are logical and easy to follow. The author has presented a range of useful techniques and has a fantastic attitude. This text is a very positive influence.

If you're like me and are a young electrician wanting to learn more of your trade this book is fantastic! It is written very well, really easy to understand. It has a step by step troubleshooting technique on multiple scenario's that we face on a day to day basis. Teaches you about preventative maintenance, how to use different meters for different situations, how to read prints, how to troubleshoot relays, motors, control circuits, valves, diode, capacitors. How to troubleshoot with prints, without prints. I bought this book while I was the only electrician taking care of a cardboard manufacturing plant and I practiced what was in this book daily, 7 months later I got a job at a Chrysler Assembly Plant. Totally worth the money! Do yourself a favor pick this book up, learn and feel confident in your trade!

I don't live in USA and I have ordered a new book that has been shipped abroad.It was a quite long journey for the book so I thought a book will be wrapped and packaged very well just in case of any damage can happen.It was not.I got the book with damaged cover and corners.Paperback book was packaged just in simple soft envelope with som thin layer of plastic foil with air bubbles.In addition it should be wrapped around some stiff and rigid cardboard or something to protect corners.That's why I put 4 stars,contents of this book is worth 5 stars.Maybe one day it will appear new edition of this book for advanced industrial electrical control circuits troubleshooting.
