There is nothing special about this but it is well made and the shutter does not jam, so easy to insert and remove the plugs.

The RJ45 Outlet Module is a great solution for adding Ethernet connectivity to any room. The 25 mm x 50 mm size fits perfectly in standard wall plates, and installation is straightforward. The unit was easy to clip in to a modular face plate and it will fit in to a 25mm depth back box as long as there are minimum cables coming into the back box, ideally a 35mm depth box is better and if it is a dry lining box in plasterboard all the better as this will allow the heat generated to dissipate.This unit is live all the time and consumes 20mA on stand by whereas some dearer units only switch on when a USB cable is plugged in.

I had a double space in my euro module media plate behind a TV and this was as cheap as buying a blanking plate to cover it. Easy enough to wire it off the exiting plug sockets in the same blackbox.Only downside is this has no switch, although I don't believe any euro module 3 pin plugs do, due to the limited space.

Just what I needed, i.e. a flush, panel mounted socket. Only criticism is poor provision for securing it in place. Ended up using high strength epoxy glue.

It works but when remove a cable it the whole module can unclip and detach from face plate
