Ordered this for my wife's math class and have read through some of it myself. The collection of subject matter is excellent and the explanations and real-world examples and applications are easy to understand. I think the class she's taking will only utilize about half of the material contained in this text but I'm apt to take it off her hands afterwards and read through for my own enrichment.

I purchased this for my son's college Quantitative Reasoning class. It is easy to understand and self explanatory. I would definitely recommend.

This is the second book I have ordered. First I bought a used one, which did not have the code. I understand that is a risk, but I think it should be more clear that the code is an integral part of the course. NO ONE should buy/rent a used book because it is useless without the code. I then ordered a brand new book and it also does not have the code attached. I have been in class for three weeks and have not been able to do any assigned homework. This is ridiculous.
