Solid Performer
We use these at the metal fabrication shop I work at on a daily basis. These sanders stand up well to continual heavy abuse. They are powerful and reliable. Don't waste your money on a cheaper version that will break down after a few weeks of intermittent use. You won't be disappointed with this sander.*A note: these sanders are not ready to run right out of the box, as they do not come with the male hose coupling to attach to whatever air line you will be running them from.

Fantastic sander
I found out about these from a relative that has a cabinet making shop. They had older models and I really liked using it in his shop so I bought my own. This is a great sander, very easy and comfortable to use. It can get in tight places by lifting the edge and just touching the opposite side on whatever you are sanding. The maximum air pressure is 60PSI so you need to have a regulator on your compressor. I also added one to remove moisture as I really do not like water coming out on any wood projects I am sanding.I did not get the vacuum attachment so I just keep my shop vac close to whatever I am sanding and there is very little dust. I bought Mirka 5" discs for it and they work well together. I have not bought any of the other heads for this sander yet, but I like it so much, I plan on it later.

Machine Shop Workhorse
My coworkers and I use these sanders every day to finish both aluminum and stainless steel parts.Make no mistake, these sanders are loud, messy and consume a ton of air (18CFM@90psi) but with an aggressive sanding disc, they'll bite into stainless steel surprisingly well.I recommend use of a "wet line" with a in-line air tool oiler, there is an audible RPM difference if you don't properly lubricate. Granted, if you overlubricate, it'll just spray out on the underside of your arm and all over the part making a mess. The vinyl attachment pad does become worn over time and needs replacement, but I think the lifespan of the motor is probably above 3 years of heavy industrial use.

Love my Dynabrade
Dynabrade makes some of the best DA sanders that I’ve ever used. I’d much rather spend extra money on a tool that I know will provide the performance that I need for my business. Feels great in my hand and provides the finish I want.

Works better with big businesses than at home
You need a lot of air for these sanders. Works better with big businesses than at home. Unless you have some big compressor. Still a lot better than any other sander out there that I've seen.

DYNABRADE IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Dynabrade is quality. They cost more because they are better. If you use an orbital sander every day this is the one you want. If you are a DIY / home user you don't need to spend the money on this one.

Broke after 2 years...light use
It sands fine for what I used it (light use every now and then). The material on the bottom of the plate gets fuzzy on the edges with time.Still holds the paper decent. The filter on the airport fell apart after 2 years. So does the band inside, that keeps the bottom plate from spinning like crazy. My 50 dollar Porter Cable did the same after 2 years. Now both of them turned into angle grinders and super dangerous to work with. For a 200 bucks tool total waste of money.
