Both of the templates have the markings printed on the backside. Depending on use, this may cause them to ware away faster than if they had been printed on the top. The template marked "8356" (the larger of the two) has a matte finish on the topside that further obscures the marking printed on the backside. Three stars because these will suffice for my purposes, but if you intend to purchase these for their expressed purpose, I would strongly advise continuing your search.

Military symbol stencil covers most common units.

Not as useful as I thought it would be. Didn’t have much variety in the size of operational graphics. It really is only useful for company and PLT operational graphics. BN and higher will generally be on larger maps, so you will be making larger graphics. Super fine map markers do not fit in the slots for IN cross or the weapons symbols. I guess pencils would work good, but rarely do you draw with pencil.
