Love it works great for washing rice. Sturdy quality.

Great quality strainer at an amazing price. I didn’t realize how much I needed one of these for almost daily use. The mesh used is very good quality also. Can’t go wrong with this if you decide to buy.

Good size. A bit flimsy.

The connection between the handle and the ring holding the mesh is flimsy and feels like it would break when trying to shake excess water out of 2 cups rice or elbow pasta. Pros - Can be use to wash 2 cups of rice or beans, or drain similar amount of cooked pasta. - Cheap Cons - Must wait for gravity to eventually stop dripping as it can only handle very light shaking. For washing rice or beans this really doesn't matter as it means the rice just contains a tablespoon of water "extra" at the start of cooking (so remove a tablespoon of water from the cooking liquid if exact measurements are needed). For draining pasta the remaining water will water down your sauce. I have not tried using it as an improvised sifter but the flimsy handle connection doesn't seem ideal. Overall I'll keep it for washing/draining beans and rice which is why I bought it. A solid colander works better for pasta because it will take an aggressive shake (but rice would slide through the holes).

I've needed one of these for so long and for the low price I don't know why I didn't get one sooner! This strainer is awesome. Nice wooden handle that feels sturdy to hold. The little feet at the end are a bit curved so I feel like it sits on a pot more securely than others I've had. It feels substantially built overall. I've drained stock, pasta noodles, canned beans and it's been fantastic and easy to clean. As far as size and capacity of what it can hold, I have fit 2 cans of 10 oz beans in the strainer at once to give you an idea. Good quality and great value.

Good size, but I really weak handle. My first straining and it already started to bend. Mesh was easy to clean though.
