Wife like it a lot matches the one we found at Goodwill.

I read the Amazon product description, and also read through all 36 reviews of this item, but still couldn't find a precise answer to my main question: "What size spice jars will fit in this rack?"I purchased one, and am now furnishing you with the answer. The space between the bottom shelf and the middle shelf is approximately 4 3/4 inches. The space between the middle shelf and the top shelf is appoximately the same. There is a metal bar running across the front of each shelf to act as a lip that keeps the jars from falling out of the front. That lip is about 1 1/4 inch above the shelf. Therefore, in order to add and remove the taller jars from the shelves, you have to tilt the jars to clear the front lip and the shelf above. In other words you have to angle them onto and off of the shelf. I have found that you can easily do this with jars that are about 4 inches tall. The standard McCormick jars are about 4 1/2 inches tall, and I was able to get them onto the first and second shelves with not much problem. You will not want to use the first and second shelves for jars that are between 4 1/2 and 4 3/4 inches tall. However, you can put jars of any height onto the third shelf, as long as the jars are no greater than 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The 2 1/2 diameter limit applies to the first and second shelves as well. I hope this makes it easier for prospective customers to decide if they can use this spice rack.The spice rack is well made, and the finish is a satin black that is silky to the touch. I only have 4 quibbles. 1) I wish there was a bit more clearance between shelves. 2) I wish they had put lips on the back like they did on the front, so that you can use the rack free-standing on a counter top without the jars falling out the back. A back lip would also have been useful for wall mount applications to help prevent your wall from being marked by spice jars bumping the wall when you add or remove them from the shelves. 3) The only mounting hardware that is included are 4 screws that go through mounting holes in the rack. If you wall mount this rack on drywall and miss the studs, you are going to have to supply your own wall anchors. I also wish the screws were slightly longer, to provide more secure penetration on studs. 4) My last quibble is with the product information. It's sad that companies, including this one, don't provide adequate product information to answer consumers questions. It's frustrating for consumers to have to search through customer reviews or send questions to product specialtists in an attempt to find crucial information that the company failed to provide! Companies -- wake up!Overall this is a quality spice rack, and if the dimensions are o.k. for your jars, I recommend it.

I actually bought this to hang on my wall to put all my essential oils on, keeping them in a box was way to hard to find anything or organize them. I'm so glad I did. This was easy to put up, looks nice, I can fit them 2 deep on each rack so they are easier to organize. It's very simple, shipped to me fast with no damage or problems. I like the look of it on my wall. The price was great too. I can't believe how much they want for nail polish racks and such. seriously? I am very pleased with this product and would buy again If I needed to. My mom and sister have already bought it themselves to do the same thing. Here is a breakdown of how my 1-5 ratings are determined: 5-star rating that means that I truly love that product and it has features that put it above and beyond what would normally be expected, and it is something that “wowed” me and I am truly glad I purchased it and would purchase it again. Also I recommend it to everyone and anyone!4-star ratings are items that do exactly as would be expected of the item, is of very good quality, but does not stand out significantly in any way unless I specifically state why it stands out. But all in all, this item is a solid item and is still highly recommended. It just didn’t have the wow factor that my 5 star ratings would have had.3-star ratings are given on items because my feeling about the product is neutral. I do not consider it a negative, but it just did not wow me, or there is nothing of great significance.1 or 2-star ratings are rarely given unless the item is completely worthless and not worth the money, and I am only giving that rating as a warning to others. Some items have received lower ratings because of the way they were made or put together, and it is getting that review because of the quality of the item, which is specifically described in my review. It has to be pretty bad to get these ratings from me!

My Penzeys spice jars fit well in this rack and it's sturdy enough for other things once it's mounted, but that takes patience. Still, other benefits made the effort worth it. First of all, each shelf is the same depth, which isn't obvious in the picture and since many racks have graduated shelves, I was pleased to find all three of these are commodious. I can fit five Penzeys bottles side by side on each shelf. They are almost big enough to fit six, but not quite. I can fit four Penzeys jars and two narrower jars though.Once I finally got the two racks I bought up, I'm pleased about the extra space for storage, but boy were they a pain to mount. Part of my problem was where I hung the racks--not as easily accessible as I'd have liked, but many places in the kitchen aren't. The tabs through which the supplied screws are to be driven are inside the back of the top and bottom shelves (they show as solid black squares in the picture). Getting your hand in there to hold the screw while you start it is really awkward and to make matters worse the nose of my drill couldn't get close enough to either drill or screw. Luckily I had a snub nosed impact driver that I could use although I still had to use an extension on the screwdriver bit. I never could get the top inside screw mounted through the hole in the tab and had to put the screw at the top corner for the rack to rest on.I'm pleased that I could store my tall narrow bottles of specialty vinegars on the top shelf and could also store medium sized supplement jars. It's really nice have more things off the counters--I need all the space I can get. As I've branched out to try different cuisines, I've gotten quite a collection of spices and was desperate for additional storage. The units that fit in the cabinets and have pull out shelves don't accommodate the Penzeys bottles comfortably, but these shelves are generous and they fit easily. I'm pleased with this purchase.

The rack itself is very sturdy and of good quality, however, no matter how I adjusted my shelves in my cupboard, the doors would either not close or I had to lose a shelf, which defeats my object for space, also only the small McCormick spices fit in this, so pretty useless if you don't buy that brand, I will return

not for it's intended purpose: going to work perfectly for my toddler personal case shelf in the bathroom. nice and small (just like a small spice rack). it should be made clear though that the metal used in this rack is round and not square as it is in the 'matching' magazine rack that we also bought for the bathroom so the two items are very similar but upon close inspection they do not match (same colour and same style but different metal- round vs square). I's still recommend the product as it's built well and seems to be painted or powder coated well, nice matte finish.

I bought one from the USA Amazon before and loved it. This one looks the same, but the height between the rack is slightly different. Also the screws aren't painted black like my old one.
