Will continue to use this!
I began using this, alternating with David's Hydroxi toothpaste, about 3 months ago. I noticed that my mouth and teeth definitely felt much cleaner as compared to using "regular" toothpaste. The mint flavor is somehow more natural and not as strong, yet the fresh feeling lasts longer. Also, I hadn't been in for a dental visit in a number of years and when I went in recently due to a very old filling that had come loose, the hygienist commented several times that my home care was excellent and to keep doing what I'm doing. There was very little tartar buildup on my teeth even though I hadn't had a professional cleaning in years. I believe that is due to using David's twice a day and flossing every day. And my teeth are definitely a whiter, too.

Natural and Flouride Free
We are a Dave’s Toothpaste brand household. We’re always looking for flouride free toothpaste products and Dave’s was a winner. My favorites are the mild mint and orange vanilla. My daughter likes the watermelon flavor. They have different types of tooth paste regular and the hydroxyapatite nano hydroxi. We have both, It’s safe and gentle enough for sensitive teeth, or problem teeth as I have to personally use non abrasive toothpastes. My teeth feel clean and amazing after each use, my breath smells excellent. Tastes is yummy so you won’t have to worry! We love Dave’s!

Great toothpaste, but…
I love this toothpaste! It doesn’t have the ingredients other OTC toothpastes have which cause a lot of mucous, which is good for people with a severe gag reflex, especially young children. I would give it a 5, but the tubes seem to have a lot of air that dispels before the toothpaste comes out. The photos taken were after a small 1/2” blob was put on my electric toothbrush. The final one with the cap in place shows how much is actually missing after I squeezed the toothpaste to one end. Maybe more quality control is needed where this product is made? In spite of the tubes having the air issue, this is still a great toothpaste.

Too Good to Spit Out
Just so you know, toddlers equate all liquids in pouches to viable food sources, and this sweet strawberry flavor only serves to reinforce that false conception. They are obsessed. We found our 2.5 y/o and 1.5 y/o hiding together in their play house, discreetly chowing down on this stuff. Further more, our son had filled the bed of his toy pickup truck with it, for good measure (maybe saving it for a snack later?). All in all, a win. Just can’t keep them from swallowing it while brushing!

Cleaner teeth and mouth
Live this toothpaste. My teeth are so much cleaner between professional cleanings. Love that there’s no nasty chemicals in the formula. My only wish is it would be a little less runny. I sometimes can’t get a loaded brush to my mouth before the toothpaste begins to slide off. However, that’s no reason not to like the overall performance of the toothpaste.

EWG influenced this purchase
I purchased the whitening and anti-plaque toothpaste, but the same sales page's options contained nano-hydroxyapatite. Amazon's 5 star system seems inclusive all these toothpastes in one rating system. There is a serious problem in which the search engines in general are not bringing up the controversial details that far too many consumers are raising about micro (natural) vs nano (synthetic)--where the manufacturers including David's are hiding this specific data. When I search hydroxyapatite info, I find David's toothpaste brand as unacceptably hiding information about its percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite, its suspension rate, its total product percentage. Any honest pharmacist will identify this type of general information that can have impacts upon the human body as unacceptable. David's entire line is not 100% natural to the extent it contains NANO-hydroxyapatite, as any NANO is always synthetic and unnaturally sized and can be expected to lead to potential cellular function problems inside the body until enough time has passed for all the scientific safety tests to have been properly executed and published. Micro size is natural and does not have these nano size problems. The small unnatural size of NANO anything allows it to unnaturally enter any human or other living cell where the universal or divine design did not allow it to come into natural existence. Nano Hydroxyapatite is not natural, but synthetic. In fact, the safety studies of anything nano which is such a new technology can not be completed for years into the future. Meanwhile, Davids expects its customers to trust its limited nHA info pertaining to total suspension and to total ingredient in product and in terms of its exact size. I expect all toothpaste manufacturer's to be 100% transparent, especially about the details consumers want to know about distinctions between nano and micro sized ingredients! If I had know this, I would not have bought this "natural" herbal citrus mint toothpaste. Just because EWG blessed this product this time does not mean its formula might not be found "natural" next time when it does not feel a natural obligation to transparently disclose all information to consumers. If EWG doesn't continue to monitor this each and every time, I can't allow myself to trust this product.

TAKES IRON STAINS OFF TEETH!!!!!!
I bought the naturally strawberry watermelon flavor for my four-year-old autistic twin daughters. I have to give them iron supplements by mouth directly, and it was staining their teeth. The toothpaste I was using wasn’t touching the stains and I couldn’t get them off. THIS TOOTHPASTE ALONE HAS TAKEN THE IRON STAINS RIGHT OFF OF MY DAUGHTERS’ TEETH! I just ordered another tube for them and I ordered spearmint for me!
