Multi-purpose chocolate, baking, choc making and an excellent snack
I use this to make bon bons, melts beautifully and tempers easily. Multi-purpose chocolate. Almost as good as Valrhona.

Great chocolate wafers
The wafers were the perfect thing for making buckeye chocolate candy. I placed almond bark chocolate in a pan over the simmering pan of water and added about 4 ounces of the chocolate wafers and the buckeyes were delicious as well as chocolate covered pretzels for Christmas candy.

my preferred chocolate for baking
I do like the pricier European chocolate wafers, but the price point is really too high for me. These wafers are made just south of San Francisco and their taste is excellent. I use the chips for cookies and bread puddings, but prefer the wafers for ganache. They melt beautifully and harden up nicely. Highly recommended.

Best tasting and excellent quality chocolate
We use this just for nibbling.Rich and fruity flavored dark chocolate, some of the best tasting there is and I am a chocolate snobI like that Guittard Responsible and ethical, and that this is organic.

Good product suffering from poor warehouse conditions
The Guittard chocolate company is pretty reliable for quality and I needed the wafer format but couldn't find any in stock locally so had to take the risk with buying online. Well the chocolate ultimately was fine in my recipe but I had to re-temper it because the way that Amazon warehoused it it had been overheated at least once and was completely crystalized with the worst bloom I've ever seen and much of it was melted together into big chunks. Kind of defeated the purpose of the wafer format. Buyer beware if you're looking for chocolate already in perfect temper.

Poor quality
The wafers in the bag arrived melted into 1 large clump. Won’t be able to use it in the recipe I purchased it for.
