One powers the dvr. The other two power 4 camera each. There are 2 four connector pig tale that each plug into a separate power unit. I think the max frame rate is 25 fps. Not certain about the specs on the lenses.

Is there a setting so that all 8 cameras record? Mine only records 4 channels.

Yes each camera can be set individually. I recall using drop down menu to select a camera number or to apoly setting to all. Also I believe the recording schedule can be set individually. Also the motion detection and the grid overlay can also determine if a camera will record. There is a setting for always recording in addition to record on motion detection.

Can I monitor it by PC remortly? or only phone
